There was also the time he came over to play Munchkin with us at Mully's place.
We were having fun and he'd even brought this friend over, a tall, thin girl, who turned out to be pretty cool and we all got along with her really quick. She even thought the game was fun and funny.
Well afterwords I had this inkling he had posted something about this girl before on the forums.
I later found out it was a girl he and a friend had stuffed into a suitcase in some weird role play fantasy. He had written all about it not long before we met her.
Zonk was a really nice guy. When we were down in Seattle for DramaPAX I got to hang out with him all day Friday. He, Mully, Shoe, and I went to eat breakfast and the waitress was asking how we wanted our bills split up, Shoe and I said we were together and she asked if Mully and Zonk were together. Zonks reply? "No, she doesn't put out." He made jello shooters for the party. Not any jello shooters, jello shooters in little plastic eggs. They turned out good. His fingers turned red from the jello. I'm glad I got to meet him and spend time with him. He was very charismatic, made you feel totally at ease. I teased him for being a Newfie, he teased me for being an Albertan. I will miss him.

Fram and I were in our car and he was following us in his truck with a couple other peope in it (mully and trillian?) All of a sudden I hear him honking his horn over and over and my phone starts ringing. I grab the phone.
"Hello?"

I know only bores tell other people their dreams, but bear with me for a second.
last night I dreamt that a bunch of us were playing paintball in a large, brightly-colored compound. a bunch of my local friends were there, but also zonky, kusu, viv, mully, aneurhythmia, just an entirely random selection of formulas. when that dream ended, i was riding in a car in an urban setting and realized that my best friend, who was recently sent off to boot camp for his prestigious academy, had died, and that I was never going to see him again.
only dream I've ever had in which someone died, and I noted that upon waking up
i was really looking forward to meeting him at pax, and now i never will, and that is a damn shame.

God dammit.
I didn't know him as well as I should have. I don't know why. I remember him being at DramaPAX, and hanging out with him a little, but now I know it wasn't nearly enough.

Met him once. Bridge jumping. He kept going on about the noodles in Nanaimo. It was amazing how well he got along with the noodle house manager. Even though he hadn't been there in forever, they got along like old friends. One of the most charismatic people I've met. Glad to have shook his hand.
