I felt like WoW had a lot more transparency of stats than diablo 2 did. There was no listing of dodge rating, critical strikes, mana regeneration, and so forth. I know a lot of stuff like hit cap had to be figured out by the players, but it was nice to know how much you needed.

Saying that he felt like WoW's stats were more readily seen than Diablo 2's is like saying "I feel like Diablo 1 is more slower paced than Diablo 2." It is something really blatant and therefore I felt like he was using the meaning of transparent that is synonymous with diaphanous and here we are in this really stupid mess.

You know, I like the way D3 looks, but that picture of D2 that they're using doesn't help their argument. They're trying to be witty/sarcastic saying it's dark and gritty when the pic is bright colors, but it's only like that because the characters' skills are making the neon greens and blues and the poison nova. That's not the environment.
It just shows there's retarded people on both sides of that argument.

I'm also going with the prediction that Sanctuary will be so Hell-infested that Heaven decides to exterminate it as a last resort, so Tyrael defects and the humans pretty much just go "fuck the both of you, we'll do this on our own." They really should have thrown in a shot from the Superman animated series for comparison. That would've really worked.
The cartoon they showed was a dark and gritty one while the pic of d2 looked like a rainbow, as it does many times during a play through of the game.
