The latest map pack fiasco has ruffled feathers of bungie fans as well. It looks like things aren't so smooth between the two companies currently. I'm still miffed the latency issue is still plaguing the microsoft servers but I'm always bitching about that.

I finally messed with my router setting my nat is showing "open" it shouldn't be as bitchy now. These actiontek routers really are a big pile of junk though.
all it takes is one look at the page source to realize that the only code on that page is for the timer and background elements. Theres no script for replacing the page with an announcement the timer is just there to tell you when bungie will push the big red announce button

Also.. I'm coming back to Halo early tonight, at least for a couple of customs. I've found some fucking awesome customs-only things that I forsee making hilarious gametypes out of.
As upset and frustrated as we know folks are, we hope it's at least a small comfort that our fans know we share their disappointment. A metric ton of man hours went into getting something ready to show and it's disappointing to not be able to share it. But, the upside is that it's all stuff you'll still see further down the road.
As much as fans wanted to believe otherwise, this is in fact, the truth and not a cruel hoax or prank. E3 is winding down and there are no plans to make a surprise announcement later this week.
Also, at this news that Retard McSucksalot dropped about it really being a Halo game by Bungie, and that's why they wanted to hold it back -- they thought FFXIII was enough for E3 -- something that was known, for years, as almost being too many announcements for gaming.
Fuckin' a, way to let down one of the biggest sections of your user base.
They already perceive they have a 'win' with FF13. You don't need to drop Halo 4 and that at the same time. There is only so much mindshare out there it would be a gross surplus of hype.
Drop Halo 4 later in the year, X08 or something. Heck, maybe even one of the smaller shows (Pax, Leipzig)
And by Halo 4 I mean whatever they have cooking, not specifically a sequel or anything.
