Yeah, someone told me he was a chick and I was like "What? no way"
then I ran into the guy/girl/??? the next day and couldn't discern an adam's apple.
the game is afoot.
I don't rightly care, but his voice is extremely high, so it might explain... something.
It would also explain why he's with a chick no dude who looks like him could achieve... but maybe if he had the power of ... I don't know... whatever power he got imbued with.
Shit, I think Keith's drunkpoast is contagious and I caught it.
Very much worth four bucks
Act II is near the top of my "Most Played" list on iTunes
Beaten out only by the time I left a Ramones album on loop for a week
Whedon has done one puppet thing and he didnt even write that episode!
When I found out Ben Edlund wrote that episode I went
"Huh. That makes sense, actually. I can see Edlund writing this"
For you heathen sons of bitches, Ben Edlund is the dude who created The Tick

I think Joss Whedon takes a childish delight in manipulating expectations. He recognizes that there are many built-in assumptions with regards to plot and character and he plays on those assumptions.
For example, in one episode of Firefly:
Simon and that secret agent dude were at a stand-off with River as hostage and there's that split-second when Simon looks away and you totally expect the agent to shoot him and then BLAM! Mal shoots the guy right between the eyes. Game over. They grab the body and toss it and leave. No elaborate denouement, just throw out the garbage and move on.
Yea, doing things that depart from the norm seems to be one of his favorite things. Which is fine, but at times it seems like he's sacrificing the overall quality of a plot just to make sure it's not falling into the generic. That's never worth it.

Never say never.
I don't think he sacrifices quality to avoid triteness. I think he starts out driving down the same old tired road and then at the last minute takes a sudden turn into uncharted territory. It's usually refreshing.

Joss doesn't exactly need support but I would argue that buying it on iTunes will help support shows developed for the web in general
Of course, going and spending your 5 bucks on a web series that has less name power behind it would probably be even more effective
Edit: that took me a minute or so to figure out too, Bale
The fact that I got it all shows I've been lurking SE++ for too long
hey, I'm cool too
aren't I

Centipede, you are hells o' cool.
Whedon's next project should be puppet-based
But yes it's totally worth 4 dollars

Check iTunes to see if they're available internationally
Nathan Fillion explains Captain Hammer's powers.
But he left out the thing about his dick being a hammer
Joss should team up with Jason Segel and do a muppet musical
In fact they should just do a full length version of the Dracula musical from Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I'll go get it somehow then
I know, that's why I suggested it
He knows puppets
He don't need Joss Whedon to come in and louse things up with his sad endings!
Nah, not for the Muppet movie, Segel can write that himself, and he'll make it awesome
But they could do good things together, puppets or not
(preferably puppets)

Surely that must count for something.
They'd make lots of money.

You can only get the characters from the Smile Time episode though, it would be cool if they did a whole line of characters, you're right

At least he doesn't go for the lame-ass twist stuff like M Night Shyamalamadingdong.

yay
I think he got asked this at Comic Con. IIRC he said he's not; he's had many happy endings and he just couldn't recall any at that time.
