Why the hell would a company have a type of art associated with it when it employs many, many different artists with many, many different styles?
Well, to be fair companies had "house styles" for a long time, kind of a general look that they'd aim for. It's become less prevalent in recent years, but just look at 52 and Countdown; both books feature artists that are largely interchangeable, aside from standouts like Jimenez and Nauck.
This seems like overkill, unless it's directly attached to the upcoming symbiote invasion. If they have two separate storylines involving symbiotes and the Avengers within a few months when none of the team members are Spider-Man, it'll just be awful.
So let's pick the Bendis fetish: just gender-swapping the Mighty villains, or is he into turning Jan into each? And which shall befall Doom, as he's next on the list?
I think the idea behind Cho is alright. I think it's pretty cool that his intellect makes him almost precognitive. However, Pak is doing a shitty job of making him work in this event. He has his moments, but its seems like all he ever does is stand in front of Hulk and plead with him to stop.

The thing is, it's quite obvious that he's either a precog, enhanced, or a mutant. And we're supposed to feel for him because he doesn't know. Unfortunately, he comes off like a more arrogant asshole than Reed, so any sympathy is wasted.
I like Cho, despite his naivete. His asshole like tendencies actually make him more interesting to me.
In fairness you like BP: your ability to objectively assess self-obsessed geniuses who think they know better than everyone around them seems a bit...askew.
Seriously though, I simple don't find the character interesting because he's entirely unpleasant without any justification for it. He's rude and insulting, complaining about how everyone sucks while he has yet to do a single thing that benefits the world. For all his posturing, he's just a dick.
I have no interest in reading about a character like that, unless it involves his violent death.

I don't think he's powered at all, unless being a super-genius qualifies. I thought it was pretty clear through the illustration that he's calculating and analyzing on the fly, and that's what makes it appear as though he's precognitive. It's really a fresh spin on things, and makes good sense, at least to me.

No, it's quite clear that his genius is more than just extreme brainpower.
I'm not prepared to take your word for it just yet, but if that's how it turns out, that is some bullshit. Chalking his abilities up to mysticism or mutation just makes the character little more than an also-ran.
Edit: If you wouldn't mind, reference some pages for me so I can go back and read this, too. I'm still not sure what gives you this idea.
The impression that I get is that he performs complex calculations in real time. It doesn't seem like psychic ability to me.
Matt, we're going to forever dance around Black Panther, aren't we? I suppose it helps that T'Challa really does tend to know better than the people around him. Cho, not so much. He's still young.
I don't watch it that often anymore, so I may have missed an ep where she has a stroke and becomes a bitch. Otherwise... Man, WHAT?!
I think he's been written really well as a kid with incredible intelligence, no life experience and plenty of ego stroking. Of course he's going to be a dick. He really does think he knows everything. That's how he should be written.
I don't see exactly where he's unpleasant. Arrogant, sure. But why wouldn't he be? But then again, the idea of people on an Internet message board complaining about a fictional character's arrogance is remarkable.
Most terrifying preview ever. About halfway down the page there's a Rob Liefeld preview. You're already frightened, but you haven't seen what the book's actually about yet.
From the PR (courtesy of the LitG link above) "Twelve Gates will take the reader on a global adventure that reveals America's humbling defeat and the rise of coalition forces that seek to destroy Israel once and for all... The attack began with hundreds of rockets. A massive number of the Islamic forces were moving into position. Corbin led his team to a high position that would give them a clear advantage. The gunfire was simultaneous and devastating."
Rob Liefeld + middle-eastern politics + religious publisher + guns + book of revelations = super happy funtime for all.

I don't like him because he's a moron. The Hulk does one nice thing for him once, and it suddenly turns him into a huge fanboy who believes the Hulk can do no wrong, and he becomes completely blind to what's right in front of him. It'd be like me giving someone a ride home from work one day, and from then on they're worshipping the ground I walk on and sabotaging people in front of me in line for promotion.

Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
I guess that in my mind I associate most of DC with a cleaner, crisper look. Nevermind whatever I said, just a personal opinion.

I hate that idiotic character. Just bullshit from the beginning.
Like beginning in 1962 or the most recent iteration...
Rock Band DLC | GW:OttW - arrcd | WLD - Thortar
Looks and sounds pretty damn good.
PSN: OrneryRooster
That'd be pretty cool. He pretty much dropped off the map after his mini finished.

He means Cho.
And I agree.

He's like Peggy on King of the Hill.

Man, I really want to buy it just because it would look so good on my shelf. But the art inside is, generally, terrible.
