The Avatar is worth a special note, as he's 500 times more vulnerable to dark as most other dark-vulnerable creatures. That means your success against him is almost entirely dependent on how many dark gems you have on your sword. This fits my experience, as even with high strength/sword levels doubling my dark gems made it take half the time to kill him.

Thanks, grinding dark gems instead of gold for a while gave me enough power to routinely take down the Avatar. Now I have over 100 billion gold. No way in hell am I clicking long enough to spend it all, so I guess I'm done with the game.

You can press TAB till whatever you want to buy is highlited and then hold down the enter key.

Now I feel really dumb for doing all that work with automator before. I even knew you could do that sort of thing, but totally forgot about it.

    WHAT???????????

I spend literally hours left clicking like crazy. I even deleted all my saves cause it felt DUMB to spend an hour raising one stat instead of fighting in this shitty ass game.

    FUCK.

It's still pretty slow if you have enough money. I'd say it's roughly ten times faster than franticly clicking, plus you just have to hold down a button instead of having to click over and over.

I don't know. I just dropped the 20bil I'd had saved when I "quit playing this forever" into my two swords in about 30 seconds.

I still think the four mobs I have left to kill will take too long. Need bigger swords.

Is there a point to Hard Mode? Sure, you could work your way back up fighting normal enemies, but you'll get far more of a payout grinding the normal Avatar. Is there any reason not to jump straight from the normal Avatar to the Hard Avatar?

I'm scared - what if this game is really just market research into seeing how addictive mindless grindfests can be, and all future MMO's will emulate it? We will all be addicted to unimaginable boredom, FOREVER.

Go to the intelligence shrine and kill the slimes a bunch of times so they replicate. Eat most of them and dupe them again. Eat them and exit. Try that a couple of times and maybe do the other challenges once or twice more.

I think you also have to defeat the helldog, abyss worm(was that its name?), and doppleganger. I can't really think of anything else.

Looking at the code you should only have to kill 9 or more slimes. I'm not sure what's causing the issues people are having.

Heh, I take it you just tried the avatar?

Ah, nine slimes. I think it only starts with 4/5 and most people are told to not kill them before they get there.

That explains it. It starts with 8 slimes but you need to kill 9+, so you have to kill at least one of them with your sword/magic so it divides.

You'll also want the hyper armor from the golden knight if you haven't gotten that already. Try to find him on the map that has living armors all over the place.

Ditto. But the first time you drop a billion gold straight into your sword after going so long without a level feels pretty awesome.

So I whacked a hard-mode level 4 goblin mage today, and he dropped three bags and an emerald. The bags were all 999,999,999. Frankly I'm really disappointed at the fact that there's a limit on gold drops; it really seems to rob hard mode of its purpose.

    *sigh*

Four more monsters and I'll have completed the bestiary.

Have any of you played any of the other games on Barbarageo? Some of them a REALLY fun, especially the shooters. They're all pretty easy, but damn nice time wasters.
