Efreet is annoying. Luckily I killed a random monster and it dropped 500k which allowed me to upgrade my knife even higher than the fire sword I was using. I don't feel like I am doing enough damage though. It's a rather long period of time to be dodging all that crap he's throwing.
But then I realized that these gems drop for a reason. So I grinded posidon for Aquamarines (it's important NOT to apply them until you're ready to fight) and stacked my weapon so it was 10-12+ to water. Killing him after that was easy, I might even grind him.
A good starting source of cash is the magic-weak boss in the lower right, the cloudy looking thing.
Gems generally drop from bosses, specific colors from specific monsters. (IE a water boss has a chance to drop a water gem)
Tip: There is a vendor in area 5 I think, that sells the badge of heroism. What it does is makes it impossible for you to run from a fight. This sounds bad, but in practice it means you can skirt right along the edge of the screen when fighting, making it easier to dodge.

Do all the weapons do the same damage when on the same level? I bought all of them so that I could have different elemental weapons, but I'd still like to know.
So maybe the game should say "warning, you'll lose you save data" instead of "save data will be initialized"
Because I assumed I would be starting a save file, since that's what initializing meant to me, not deleting my guy with level 400 sword and a bunch of awesome other stuff.
In conclusion, fuck this game.
I eve killed some guy in the field near the witch, he was yellowish, his name started with an A, he dropped a little over 5 mil.

Okay, so I get topaz from the Sand Worm, aqua marine from Poseidon, onix from the Sorceress and rubies from Efreet, but where do I get emeralds and diamonds?
ok im confused I think.
Ive been playing this for an hour now and Im just after the first city. It just dawned on me all my stats are still at 1 but i have magic, ect... how do I up my stats? I cant make a scratch on the sand worm boss.
I think I am going to quit this battle with the Apocalypse. I am still not even halfway through with him. THis is after a cumulative of about an hour of fighting him.
Ha! At the frozen waste in the 14th area, I killed some slime thing(looked like the first enemies in the game, but yellow and maybe flashing) that dropped about...hmm....FIFTY million gold. I didn't catch its name because it died pretty quickly while I killed other shit.
I highly recommend pumping luck as soon as you can. More gems, more gold, more rares.

The button says "clear save data" and there's a picture of a skull on it.
Is there a way to remove enchantments? Because my sword is loaded with water for ifrit but I don't want to regret the fire armor against upcoming water bad guys.

You could neutralize the enchantment by using the opposite gem, but it's better to have multiple weapons/armors.
So yeah, luck makes a huge difference. With default luck, I got like 4 million from an ettin. Now with 100+, I got like 180 million. Time to pump it up some more for serious grindage.

Wow, these bosses are real chumps after you get enough enchantment diamonds. Grinding on Efreet, not even thinking about that lizard assassin boss that was kicking my ass. Heck, he probably couldn't kick it now

You have to get to the 12th area, or block or whatever. Works like all the other shrines do
I am absolutely sure that Apocalypse would have dropped over 1 million but jesus fuck I am not going through that. It would take me until tomorrow to finish him.

I found Arthur in the fields on the witch boss level. Blue skeleton, easy to kill, 3 million gold and a gem or two.
I have two swords: water, wind, holy and fire, earth, unholy

I just got that.
Wow, me too. The Colossus is a golem that looks like Iron Man, so it doesn't surprise me.
X-men all up ins.

So:
Moon temple. That pyramid that you couldn't go into earlier near Poseidon.

Ha. I just stood in the corner and auto-fired him to death. It took awhile, so I read the newspaper until he was dead.
Yiggadrasl is kicking my ass.

Seeing as how Yggdrasil is called the WORLD fucking TREE
And he's yellow, the game's color for earth,
I thought he might be earth element, but no, of course not.

He shoots lightning. What did you expect?
Geldra (Orc, big yellow headdress)
Colossus (Golem, looks like Iron Man)
Arthur (blue Skeleton)
is there any trick to the resistances?
It seems like he has the opposite element weapon, but not armor?
