    Like high plains drifter but with less violence against women

    Are there actually that many bars/pubs/whatever where people are relaxed and quiet? I suppose they don't exist in high density areas with the frequency that they might in lower density areas. Or maybe I just tend to think of them as restaurants after a certain point.

    I've never been a big fan of clubs and bars with loud music where you can barely hear the person sitting next to you talk. I enjoy the small house gatherings or unsavory sports bars.

    well personally i prefer a few quiet drinks in a pub/house with my close friends

    but the odd time i'll enjoy going to a club and just having a good time

    Nah, just avoid them like the plague.


    Gainesville used to be beautiful, about ten years ago; now UF has dominated the city.

    That said... eh, there's a good library or two, I haven't been up there in a while, just was in the area for a week or so.
