If you wanna start reading the books, and/or have an obsessions with short, stumpy, raging alcoholics... I suggest the Gotrek series. Gotrek is the most badass thing to happen to Dwarves since... uhh... well, he's the first really cool thing to happen to Dwarves, actually.

There are. If you want a very very good (but kind of expensive) book on Warhammer, I recommend the Liber Chaotica. It's four "books" comprising one major tome, each one is written from the perspective of a Priest of Sigmar as he delves deeper and deeper into the mysteries of Chaos. He eventually goes QUITE mad and by the Tzeentch segment you have to literally decipher portions of the book. Holding the book up in front of the mirror for some pages, freaky shit.

If you are interested in a literary history of heroic tales, Joseph Campbell's books are a great place to start. THE HERO WITH A THOUSAND FACES and THE MASKS OF GOD are probably his most famous books, but he wrote plenty of others. George Lucas (among many others in Hollywood) used his work when he was creating STAR WARS.
Old Star Wars or new Star Wars? New Star Wars sucks. I dare say KOTOR is better than all three of the last three movies. Even Yoda's LS fight seemed incredibly hokey to me. So was the fact Sammy J. was even in it. Though tbh it Sam would have been great in some rogue jedi spin-offs.
Not to get into a SW debate. Just that if GL stole shits like 3PO's "I've fallen and can't get up" schtick I'd sooner use the books as kindling.
On the other hand...Warhammer and giant slug + hottie in metal bikini sound much more in synch.

The trailer looks fine to me, but I was also content with DAoC's original graphics, and would still play a game that looked like that as long as it was fun. And since everyone has their own preference, it's kind of pointless to discuss graphics in such general terms as "looks like ass". We have to ask more specific questions, like "what part of an ass does it look like?"

Movie Gimli or Gimli from the novels? Because Gimli from the movies is nothing like the Gimli from the novels. Tolkien's version was vastly superior and cooler than that shit Jackson pawned off on us.
