Increase in number of posts per page

Is there a possibility for the forum software to allow for users to view more posts per page then the default value? At most of the forums i frequent i have 50 or 100 posts per page, it makes reading a topic much easier, and would really like to see this feature in the PA forums as well. :)

    wow i never noticed there wasnt a page like that in the profile to edit our settings.

    Alpha has said it's going to stay at 25 a long time ago. Something to do with all the speedhacks on the forum or something.

    But I guess we'll just wait for him to officially reply.

    To play devil's advocate, we do frequently refer to events on the forum by page. That might be a little confusing if pagenumbers were different for everyone.

    Why would I want my 56k raped more? 25 is a fine and dandy amount to use. Its not broke, dont fix it. As you should know, we arent other forums.

    If anything, it would simply be an option and 25 posts were thread would remain the default. People could pick from a couple options.

    I do admit, mcc brings up a point I hadn't thought of. I guess there could be ways around it, but several threads use page numbers to mark points of interest or updates.
