Shocking Experiences

So my camera broke a couple days ago; let's just say the zoom messed up and I intended to get very angry at it and bash it to get it to work again. Needless to say it didn't work after that episode. I thought perhaps I could take it apart and fix it from the inside. What seemed like a good idea turned out not to be... for when I opened my camera up and began to fiddle, I got a gigantic ass shock through my right hand. I screamed yet I didn't even mean to... it was like a reflex. The shock didn't scare me but I was baffled and my hand was shaking. Since I was determined to fix it I went back to it ten minutes later and once again I shocked myself but both hands this time. My hands hurt, my right bicep hurts, and my heart hurts. I think I'm done for today.

Now I understand the power from those cameras turned tazer, but I just never realized how bad getting shocked feels.

    Go put your hand on a lit stove and tell us your experiences with that as well.

    As long as I didn't keep it on there I don't think it could be as bad.

    There was something similar, with a really loud noise being played before a dog was fed.

    It was basically an experiment in conditioning, like Pavlov had done.

    my money is on the capacitor for the flash if it had one


    i did that once with a disposable camera

    I then went around shocking friends and loved ones

    Yeah... I'm assuming that as well. I was sure as hell I knew where I touched it before and it was on the side, but when I touched it again it was right on the board and I was not expecting it. It also had no batteries so I had no clue it would do that.

    One time I was petting a horse over an electric fence while talking to a vet friend of my mum's.

    I then rested my hands on the fence, and felt this horrible jolt. The vet just smiled and we walked back to the car. But it hurt for a good hour afterwards.

    shocking experience I today finally realized what kind of tattoo I want to get in the near future.
