Oh I don't know, while Captain Marvel pretty much has first place locked down, it really comes down to whether he takes out supes or...
You know, I just recalled that the two of them are both JLA members and good chums nowadays. I concede, the match will be swept by the two of them, although if I could, I would still pay to see what Magneto does to try and stop them.

Match C makes me feel bad for the Hulk. Stuck chucking stuff up at all the fliers he can reach, while Martian Manhunter and Thor can eliminate him at any time by telepathic attack or teleporting him to another dimension. Never thought Hulk would be the underdog.

I can't believe bigby won. I will take great joy in seeing him ripped apart by...well any one of the other three combatants in that match. Holy cow is that gonna be a good fight! I like Superman and Magneto, but Marvel is secretly Jesus Christ in disguise and Bigby apparently has a good sized fanbase here... an interesting match indeed.
We really need better summaries of characters abilities/powers. People are voting on characters they do not understand. For example, Ambrose's vaguely defined physics distortion powers have been shown to render cybernetic and other informational stuff inoperable. There is no way Cable, who pretty much relies on cybernetics entirely now, would be able to use any of his powers, especially the cybernetic-based infonet, on Ambrose.
What the hell were people thinking, anyways? Aren't Fables characters pretty much unkillable, due to their existence/power being based on people's imaginations or something? That is very awesome, but a character like Bigby is even more unkillable than Mr. Immortal.
Douglas, each thread has gone upwards of five pages. People who aren't going to read the threads aren't going to read a huge description of powers in the first post either.
Also, good luck finding all the necessary information online for this. I'm sorry everyone doesn't have encyclopedic knowledge of every character like you do.

A lot of voters seem to be going with what they believe characters to be capable of, or voting because character x is cool and they either do not like character y or they have no idea who y is.
Still for this being the first tourney, it has been really awesome so far. I hope we have another in the future.
Geebs, most of what I have learned has been found either with google, scans_daily, wikipedia, or on this very message board. I do have some compulsion to read and read and read comics and information about comics, but I do not possess secret tomes or anything of that sort. The internet is my favorite thing to read.

Bigby Wolf and Magneto stand absolutely no chance whatsoever against Superman and Captain Marvel.
I am not even kidding here, Magneto and Bigby should be completely destroyed.
And Captain Marvel and Superman would definitely team up. They're pals.
And Fables can be killed. They die all the god damned time. They either get better after a looong while, or they get replaced. They can die. They're just hard to kill.

Well, in a fairly recent Superman/Captain Marvel team-up, Supes remarks that the magic attacks he sees being used against Marvel are shrugged off like water off a duck's back.
And the power of Zeus also protects him from magical interference.
So yes, Captain Marvel is highly resistant to magic. He'd have to be, too, since he's essentially the Superman for magic stuff.
