I was thinking about starting with a creepy stalking episode and then moving into a HBO made-for-TV movie where we explore our sexuality.

From there, ball's in your court.

    One more time for posterity...
Once again, the "100 zombies" thing is not required for entry nor will you gain any "kudos" or "points" with the judges.

Well, I didn't want to do the whole zombie thing, but as a newbie I knew I wanted to start warming up for the first round. Likewise Tanzt, as a new character, has to start honing her skills. So I had her work on her training dummy for a bit.

I like it, but I think you should try fitting all those into 1 or 2 pages of panels, to give it the real comic feel.

When the time comes to do pages, I will. These are warmup sketches to get back in the saddle. I haven't done actiony stuff like this for a little while.

That said... I actually kinda like them not being in 'page' format.

Could someone PM me with how to get the yellowness of the paper turned down? The paper I use isn't really yellow...it just comes out like that for some reason. ):

Either scan your linework in on the black/white setting, or scan it in and then edit the brightness and contrast in Photoshop. That is what I do, anyway.

    Nice comic too btw.

    Name: Anthrax
    Game: Awesome.

Anthrax, aka Anaximander, aka The Guy Found in A Compromising Position With the President of the AC, was born to a small family in Iowa. As he was growing up, he was constantly subjected to mutation-enhancing radiation by aliens who wanted to see how powerful of a human they could create. Three years, and two bouts of cancer later, the aliens stopped. Anaximander, deeply moved by the aliens' commitment to make a better human being, began a campaign to kill all extraterrestrials. On this campaign, some say, he found Jesus. They fought one on one for 12 straight hours. Anthrax was strong, but Jesus knew Kung Fu (being in the mortal world for Jesus is like being in the Matrix for Neo). Then the tournament happened, and he fought Celestial's clone, and then he got teamed up with the president of the AC, and then he got beat up by Toji and SPI. Then he made a frowny face... and ate a sandwhich, and oh look, a 20 dollar bill lying on the ground.

    Anthrax! Please. on

Behold, a creation so dastardly, not even you can defeat it!

    PHOTOCHOP!
    photochop.jpg

Created when a lurker refused to read the forum rules and posted a link to his comic in the PA:AC. Enraged by the criticism of his work, he set out to exact revenge on all those who doubted his skill. Using parts of his computer, he enhanced his body, now only a tool to carry out his plans, and installed the only program he knew how to use. Adobe Photoshop. Now able to alter space time using all the tools of this dastardly program, he sets out to fufill his greatest desire. To become the winner of the PA:AC and to rule with an Silicon fist.

Powers: Can use all the functions of Photoshop to manipulate reality concerning himself, his surroundings and in special cases, his opponents.

He also knows various forms of martial arts, not limited to, but including Tae Kwan Do, Wu Shu, Judo, and Kick Boxing. He's also a big fan of Jackie Chan movies. Except "The Tuxedo." because that is quite possibly the worst movie ever made.

Psychological Break down: He's not crazy, just misunderstood.

Strengths: He's crafty, and will try to use almost anything as a weapon. ANYTHING. Slightly stronger than an average human, he's quick in his movement and even faster in his mid-combat dialog.

Weaknesses: He's highly dependant on his powers, and is restricted to the speed of his incorporated computer + brain power to use them. His mask is also a sensitive point, and as a lurker wanted anonymity. The mask is his way of continuing this.

Mugshot to come. I'm still trying to come up with a more fufilled backstory, but I think this will suffice.

Upon completing his application, Photochop was arrested for jaywalking. After a miserable mug shot, and a night in the slammer, the now even more irate lurker was determined to take over the Artist's Corner.

I don't understand this equation. Are you saying that Lensflare equals all, or that Lensflare is greater than all?

Now that I know! :D I first learned that combination in Street Fighter for the Sega! Still one of my favorite games ever.

In which case this would be "Fireball", not "Lensflare". Since when did a lensflare ever hurt anybody.
