So, I'm at work on Friday last week and go to create a new Folder in the Inbox Folder for emails from an individual that I'd like to have separated from my other mail. I've done this lots, and have 26 Folders within the Inbox Folder (and one of those has a Subfolder of its own) and 27 Folders within the Sent Items Folder (one of which having another Subfolder of its own). I find now, however, that when I go to create a new Folder, I get an error message:
"Unable to create the folder."
I've done some searching with Google, Microsoft help, and the Outlook help, but I haven't been able to find why I'm running into this problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
You're not in cached mode, correct? And you had your email admin check your account for the proper permissions and tp make sure you haven't hit any size limits?
I'd try closing outlook and renaming your OST file.

I'll look into these things when our email admin gets back from holidays. Thanks for the direction.
