Really? It's in the Phillip Pullman books and it's quite a well known place.
Never read Pullman and I only know geography slightly better than the average American.
In all fairness I could probably name 5 American States, being a Brit and i'm not great with counties, but i'm pretty o.k with countries and reading Pullman did help a little with Svalbard.

I refuse to believe that there has been no work down on surface termination of GaN but everything I can find seems to be about firing in ions to make defects. I just want to know the surface chemistry and how to alter it to my own needs.

It's the stuff that men make transistors out of. And yeah, GaN = Gallium Nitride. I don't know about it being good at reflecting.

It also helps that I'm old enough to understand wtf is going on this time.
Incidentally, the dub is terrible.
Dubs are almost always terrible.
The Cowboy Bebop dub is amazing and leagues better than the original voices.
Why can't they all be that good.
The Berserk and Trigun dubbing is well-done.
