I haven't seen it yet but yes she's gorgeous. I love her sort of half smile/stare off into the distance while chewing on her straw thing. It totally works for her and her character.

Whoever knew utilitarianism was one of ege's hot buttons.

his statement in that thread made no sense to me but it doesn't seem worth the argument.

I wish I'd seen her in more stuff to know if she's a great actress or if that part is just exactly right for her. but either way yes, I agree, it's a perfect piece of that character.

Puck kept saying that if you're a guy, someone bumfucks you if you're straight and you're in your first year of law school.

If you're gay, you have to eat smelly vag.

Whoa I caught that. Weird. I should be asleep. ZZZZZZZZZZZ.

The funny thing is that Mill (founder of what is known today as "Utilitarianism" although he was a student of Bentham or something) was probably against animal testing since he believed that animals deserved a lot of moral consideration.

Utilitarianism is a mindfuck because it makes perfect sense on a quick overview but a deeper look poses some conundrums. I don't know anything about philosophy so I deem Loren my philosophical proxy. From now on, any crazy philosophical turtles all the way down shit, I leave to him. Such a relief to get that off my chest.

I tend to feel that you should have to prove that there's value in what you're doing and that you're not tormenting things that are intelligent enough to be anguished over that. We already pretty much don't experiment on chimps any more since they've been classed as basically honorary humans. Mice...well my cat eats mice, so provided there's useful knowledge or nourishment I'm ok with it. But if you're experiment is "decibel volume of squeak vs applied temperature of soldering iron" then you probably should be checked into a facility somewhere.
Oh, well yes I completely agree with you... it was more the fact that ege made a statement about Utilitarianism contrary to what the "father" of Utilitarianism would have said.

Pretty well, I thought. I guess I'll have a better idea once everybody comes back to the thread in the morning and starts talking about it.

I'm pretty pleased with how it came out considering I did all of it myself.

I'm happy with the way your Phalla went, vh, and I'm hella sad that I had to drop out (although it was definitely worth it haha, I had a very good few days with my girlfriend). My excitement for your game has been kind of overshadowed by my grumpiness about the Captain Phalla game, though, and now I'm thinking that I should probably avoid Phallas in general for a long while, because I'm just too damn grumpy.

patton (might only watch half, I hear it's long)
    hellboy
    seven samurai

what should I watch? I've seen NBK but not the commentary, and I've never seen the others.
