Where: Johnnie Fox's - 1033 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC
When: July 19th - 6pm onwards.
So far it is looking like we may have close to 40 people. Should be interesting - we'll definitely get some new stories about Zonk, and of course we'll share all of the old favourites. Good times will be had - you know he would've wanted it that way.
Accommodation:
For those of you who are going to need a place to sleep, please let me know and I'll see what I can do. So far I believe I have WaM, Jessica (non-forumer) and naporeon at our place. I also automatically assumed Stale. If people care to bring something to sleep on (we have hardwood flooring) and some pillows/blankets, we could probably get 2 or 3 more beyond that in here.
Toothpaste, a fellow forumer, has also offered up his home. So let me know ASAP and I'll hook you up with him after I'm out of room.
For those of you who are driving:
Please let me know. I will try to find you an affordable place to park as parking in Vancouver is charged in rape-dollars. I may be able to get some parking around my apartment for 5 dollars per day.
Otherwise if you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please let me know.

Ok, I was wondering. I know they usually do wakes pretty quick. but on the off chance this was the real wake I was going to try to get some people to get together for a reef or a bouiqet...bouiqte....a bunch of flowers.
Ask Jordyn & Ben - I believe they're returning the same night, so then you wouldn't need room, and I'd have extra space in my apartment.
I might do that but I'm not sure how disappointed Jessica would be at not getting to see Vancouver.

the last couple of weekends have totally bankrupted me -- I spent like $450 this past weekend alone
and on top of that, I'm really sort of emotionally tapped out about joe, and I don't know if I can do another weekend of stories and (inevitably, on my part) crying
I haven't decided for sure, but I am leaning toward not going right now
