I might look into the rules on alternate forms/shapeshifting, I'm thinking of Coyote as being a slick swindler in a sharp suit most of the time, but fights like Sabretooth, so could do the same with Spider where she hulks out in a tough fight.
I've tried that before and trying to guess my way through the Portuguese made my brain hurt. I'd use CoX but I'm unsubbed atm and trying to find that old stand alone chargen again's probably too much a pain. Couldn't do the 6-armed version anyways.
I'm thinking about going with an armored battlesuit type; think Iron Man. Now, the name...
Well, that's always the fun part. :P
Now that I think about it, I have a question. Is there any problem with creating additional characters, if you want to play as someone else in another 'episode'? Then you could have everyone's main ones, like Lady Amazing or whoever; and still other, bit parts. (The greatest story never told, anyone?)
I am considering playing an absurdly strong character, however M&M has always confused me and I have a weird schedule.
How about... Iron Joe, the super-powered steel mill worker.
Edit: Super strong or incredibly difficult to kill... hmm...
don't you steal my powers
less superman more the hulk
Edit: Possibly based on John Henry. Actually, He could BE John Henry - risen from the grave to fight injustice. My costume will be only a pair of overalls and a sledgehammer.
Former sidekick to the renowned Captain Luminous, and until recently the leader of the teenage superteam Young Champions. He resigned because of his approaching 20th birthday.

By the way, those little rectangles down below the color selector allow you to select patterns for the piece you have selected - the first four are all basically just shading.
i must say the moon lord is probably my favorite so far, just because hey
king of the moon
also, we need a name for your supergroup (you'll decide it in-character but it will be easier if we decide now so when we do the intro episode we don't go 'um ah how about superguys?')
If so, I'll be up for playing the Mudlark, an anthropologist who fell into a mud volcano during the observation of a ritual to appease the spirits, but survived (duh), in the process becoming a being of living mud.
Specialities includie being made of mud (slide under doors, etc), an engulfing snare, turning into mud, not taking much damage from being beat up (absorption feeding regeneration), and general humanoid morphing.
I still have no clue as to what sort of a superhero I'd want to make. Maybe some kind of Gadgeteer, but I don't know.
I'll think about it at work today, see what I can come up with.

I've been thinking about my concept. Although the last character seemed pretty dark, I'm pretty sure they would have played out okay (like Raven or Jean Grey). However, I can just try something different and go straight mentalist if this is preferred.
Mind's Eye is a villain-turned superhero. When his mental powers first surfaced, he was able to coast through his adolescence, relying on others to supply his needs through the simple expedient of knowing their deepest fears and secrets and using these against them, usually not even having to resort to blackmail (which he considered unprofessional and heavy handed). Eventually he grew rich and powerful- his greed and taste for lavishly expensive things caused him to begin selling his services to wealthy. Want a law vetoed by the president? A rival company to go under? No problem!
Years later, he was caught by a super-hero and sent to jail, where he was reformed- seeing the evil that was spread by his fellow inmates and learning of the damage he had done to others' lives, he swore that when he was released he would use his remaining years to convince others that acting for others was the best thing for society, becoming a motivational speaker when he wasn't patrolling the streets in search of criminals to rehabilitate.
Very power-based character who is at his best against sentient opponents- many of his powers can't affect those who are not thinking (berserkers or non-sentient robots etc). In such situations, he falls back to leadership role, encouraging his allies and planning maneuvers for the rest of the group.
Not so dark, just a bit of a checkered past. His nemesis would be some crusader who believes he should have remained locked up, not believing he could have been rehabilitated. Determined to see my character pulled down and then killed.

A+ on the costume submissions so far
I like it better than the first one, definitely.

And shaded and I think done.

damn it, that one's taken, isn't it
The Guard.
Man, I'm terrible at naming supergroups.
We've got two "very arian" superheroes. We do not need our group initials to be SS.
How about, The Society for Well-Meaning, Civil Minded Persons of Extraordinary Ability.
As for the team name, let's think of who we've got so far. Lady Amazing, the Centurion, King of the Moon, Sparklelad, and Dr. Anachronous.
I suggest 'Pantheon of Light'.
If so, I'll be up for playing the Mudlark, an anthropologist who fell into a mud volcano during the observation of a ritual to appease the spirits, but survived (duh), in the process becoming a being of living mud.

On that theme, we could try a more traditionally camp name, like the Light Brigade (which hopefully would not turn out to be prophetic).
I'll think about it at work today, see what I can come up with.
