I'm glad I saw this thread before it turned into a giant shit fest of bitching about Mythic cutting content from the game.
Or maybe that wont happen.
Let's hope it doesn't. Math puns are more fun. They are dropping 4 capitals from the game though? Aren't their only 6? That seems...extreme?
I have no intentions of playing the game, so, it's all water under the bridge for me though. I still can't stop chuckling at the design of the Orc Mathguard.

They are, but they're dropping the other Capital Cities because they couldn't make them feel fucking fantastic. Or so they claim, anyways.
Also, they reported it in such a way that they did seem like meandering pussies, unlike so many other company representatives who have a vocal customer base.
More like World of Warhammer Online Craft
Anyway
I'd enjoy a two week trial when they eventually become available
But after that most MMOs lose their luster for me
AoC will hopefully be the exception when it comes to 360
I wonder what the extent of abilities of a Candymancer would include. Could they summon soft drinks and/or ice cream too, or are they limited to hard or pocket-carryable candies?
Depends on if you are sugar, chocolate, or snack spec.
Would taffy-based snares be in sugar spec or snack spec?

I didn't play it that long, so I am just asking out of pure curiosity, but how can you know about the endgame after just two weeks?
Or were those unrelated statements?
Because you level up, and it's fun as hell to decapitate people, and then you are done. Once you hit the level cap, it's thumb up ass time or try out a different character.

It doesn't matter because they are useless. The cast time is so long, any good MathGuard will have hit you with Polynomial before you can get it off.

Makes sense.
To be fair, I made it about three hours. Of course that's during the stress test and my computer slogged through that time the whole way. I barely made it to the city.

Look, I see what i want to see, and read what i want to read. I thought they were talking about WoW. WoW and Warhammer, same difference that stuff's all a bunch of clicks and whistles anyways.
I can't believe they took out candymancers. They were the main reason I wanted to roll a faerie.
Seriously though, I know it's been over a year since I last played WoW but with all the hype over Warhammer Online for the past few years there is a part of me that is squealing in schadenfreude-induced glee at the thought of this game not coming close to the hype it's been gathering. All those jerks who generalized WoW as being childish and unoriginal and therefore unworthy of their time because they were waiting for Warhammer are being caused extreme discomfort every time bad news comes out about that game's progress and I find it delicious.

It's a video game joke. If you don't like that, then perhaps Penny Arcade isn't for you. If you like unfunny shit I suggest CAD online and maybe Cathy in your local paper.

As has been mentioned, though for another so-called "person", you are an idiot.

My dream was to play a game where my core mechanics revolved around me yellin' at people and tellin' 'em to do things!
Shattered.
