Pretty simple. My computer (built just over a month ago), does not sleep. It winds down, everything goes black, and then 3 seconds later, it wakes right back up. It's been doing this since the day I built it. It's not a major issue, but it is rather odd.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775
MOBO: ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI ATX
OS: Vista 64

I can't imagine the other hardware/specs mattering much, but just in case...

HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE 320GB 7200 RPM
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4GB
Video: EVGA 8800 GTS 512

Spybot/Adaware are the only non-OS programs that run in the background, to the best of my knowledge.

I've had this same problem off and on with my PC (but nowhere near similar specs) and I found it was Pidgin, being left on overnight.

But Pidgin makes use of Bonjour so that's my alternate theory. If you have anything like iTunes or Safari installed then Bonjour is running in the background... might want to investigate that, see if turning it off helps anything.
