Er, 9/8. As can be seen quite muzzily up in the corner. He's quite possibly the single most utterly useless thing I've ever seen in combat, but damn if he doesn't give people pause.
Squig Herders get an ability to hop inside of a squig and control it.
Summons a massive battle squig which will promptly eat you. From within the battle squig, you can poke and prod it to move it around and make it attack.
Is the description of the ability, you get special abilities to use while inside of the squig I think. Like a knockback.
she looks like a fantasy version of a sister of battle
Speaking of which, do Warhammer females in plate look like they're ready for a medieval orgy or like they're legitimately interested in armor use
My Warrior Priest looks awesome and she wears proper clothes:
Dark Elven females are scantily-clad; Sorceresses and the female-only Witch Elves, to be exact, while Disciples of Khaine are in discreet dresses. Every race and class combination wear the robes, dresses, skirts/pants and shirts or body armor appropriate for their combat roles. Pretty cool, huh?
Regretfully, not many that I've noticed so far. Here's how it works:
It's basically tiered. So you get one look to start with, then another after a few levels, then another after a few levels all the way to the top. If you say, grab your Renown Reward or a Public Quest Loot Bag or get a lucky drop, it will all look the same if you acquired them in the same level range.
Well, the color is different, as are all the stats, but that's it.
On the plus side, you will never look like a clown unless you go out of your way to look like one. Even then, you probably would need to dye your clothes magenta and lime.
Basically, this thread has finally fully convinced me to give this game a try on release, whenever that is (14th? 16th? 18th?, one of those three i'm sure).
I'll likely hold off for a day or two, just to avoid the inevitable lowbie zones full of people camping every single quest target. Does the game instance areas if there are too many people in at once, a la CoX?

No idea. I doubt it though. Greenskins always have a lot of noobie players in there starting zone, and not once have I seen it instanced. I think that would go against the World RVR stuff there trying to do anyway.
But really, its not that bad when it comes to doing quests. There isn't much in the way of "Kill this one guy, he takes 30s to respawn" stuff in the starting zones. You don't loot quest items, you just get them for killing the mob it would come from. And, PQs would probably be really fun at launch with all the new players doing them.

Actually, they have anticipated this and have done very well. I can honestly say that the early kill quests are unaffected by how many people are in the area.
One quest requires you to kill 4 zombies at level 1. This quest takes all of 3minutes to do, but the graveyard you do it in is practically instant respawn and is large enough so that while there is a lot of fighting, there is always more than a few zombies for anyone who wants to fight them.
Also with PQs, they have actually upped the number of loot bags you can win. So no more 40 people doing the PQ, with only 3 people winning loot.
The game does not have any mobs really worth camping. The hardest mob I ever had to find was the Empire Courier but I went to go do another quest, and came back and there he was. There really is no rush in this game because the world is just so dynamic.

They've said they'll sequester players to instances if a major city is being raided and has way too many people.

Okay no really, there is like no point to this what so ever. You won't have this problem dude.
This morning I did Khaine's Embrace for the very first time. It's fuuun. Not very tactical in my opinion, (It encourages zerging for both sides.) but extremely fun.
And that roar, when the altars go atomic explosion on everyone, is fucking awesome.

Oh yes there is. Tanks go thru caves and bottle up the ends. ranged dps and such classes go around the long side and standing your ground to fight is great. I once killed 3 people by snaring and rooting them to just where the explosion would hit them. ^^
Her belt was a very WoWish lavender and ivory yellow, so I dyed it pearly white. Why? Because I don't think I'll be replacing it for at least a couple of days, and I wanted it to stop clashing with my robes. :P (It's a purple I got from a lucky PQ Major Loot Bag.)

That Crock certainly is revolting.
My black orc, just before the servers went down!
how does it feel to know you're going to have to do this all over
Doesn't bother me, as I got all of those without really trying.
A few of them I actively searched out just to make sure they were still in the same area.

Rank 10 Chosen. Looking close, you can see his demon eyes.
Little axe
She looks like a vampire.
Cool..
