Decision Made - Disregard

Alright so I've come to decide that I need a new PSP game. I'm really close to beating God Of War: Chains on God Mode (very frustrating) and I'm looking for my next thrill. Here are the games I've listed it down to, but I'm always open to recommendations:

Wipeout Pure
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Disgaea
Jeanne D'arc
Either Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy II

What do some of you guys think of these games? I'm kinda leaning towards Wipeout in preparation for Wipeout HD and having never played a Wipeout game. I also haven't played a Final Fantasy game since '04, but that was XI and it's not your typical Final Fantasy. The last two games have been revered and respected so I was just looking for a little input on this decision.

I'd go with Wipeout since it seems so different from the other games that you're a hankerin after that it seems that you really want it.

FFT: War of the Lions would be my recommendation, as it's the best game on the system.

I'm only hankerin' for Wipeout Pure because it's the cheapest :winky:

Having not played Tactics, I have to disagree. Chains of Olympus is a masterpiece.

Final Fantasy is short and easy on the PSP so if that's appealing to you go for it. IMO it also offers at least 3 playthroughs worth of game time since you get to pick what classes you have in your party.

It also dropped to $20 at Wal-Mart.

Yeah, I don't know if I would have bought it at $40 but $20 has me contemplating it.

Jeanne D'arc or FF Tactics. Both stellar SRPGs.

Has anyone here played Wipeout Pure? I've only heard feedback of FF Tactics and Jeanne

EDIT: I just called up Gamestop and I can get Wipeout Pure for free with store credit, or FF Tactics and Jeanne for about $10. I could use some in depth recommendations if any are available at the moment

I'm disgustingly obsessed with FFT. I bought a PSP for it because my PSX version is in another state. And back around early high school, I rented it four times in a row before finding a used copy at Software Etc. (bought out by Gamestop later).

    That game...

    That's right.

Well yes, but since I was just talking PSP, I didn't feel the need to bring up FFT's ranking among other, non-portable games.
