Right now I use the Acuvue Oasys and I can't stand them, my eyes get dry way to quick to use them. I am considering switching to the Focus Night and Day ones but I am unsure about a few things. Are they actually any better for dry eyes? Will I need to go to the optometrist for a new perscription? Also, is it a bad idea to use my old perscription for these?

They have an Oasys2 now, but your opto will be able to give you the best advice on this. Also, though, keep in mind that there's a lubricating surface on your lenses that only lasts so long. Mine tends to wear out after about a month and a half to three months. They're find throughout the day but by like 8pm they just get annoying. I put in a new pair and it's like putting on a new pair of shoes - you just didn't realize how bad it was.
