I liked the Shaun Michaels/Diesel/Bret Hart era, actually. I might have my eras mixed up but I remember that between between the "classic" hogan era and the razor ramon/doink era...

I used to have The Rockers spring action action figures, they used to do tag matches against The Junk Yard Dog and Nikolai Volkov who were made of gumby-esque putty.

Razor Ramon and HBK had a long running and incredible fued for the Intercontinental Title which is really what pushed Shawn Michaels into main event status.

They did the first ever ladder match, Ramon/HBK matches were fucking awesome.
Bret Hart and HBK had the first ladder match.

That was at a house show.

The Ramon/HBK ladder match at Wrestlemania is what made it huge.

First ever and first time being televised are two different things.

Honestly, the best there is the best there was and the there will ever will be is Owen Hart.

He was great. It would have been great to see a technical match between him and Mr Perfect. It's sad the rate we lose these guys.

This actually happened. Blue Blazer vs Mr. Perfect at Wrestlemania V. Fucking awesome match.

Owen almost won on a crucifix, when he was arguing the call Perfect hit him with the Perfectplex.

I was pretty much a die hard WCW, so a lot of the 90's WWF stuff I missed, so when I started watching WWE and such again, I was pretty disappointed by the lack of cruiserweights and a metric fuckton of mid-carders.

Woo. Totally bought tickets for RAW. TV side, not floor level but next up.

Yay. I haven't been to a WWE show for years.

And even then, it was a house show in Oakland that we got to late.

Though, I did get to see The Rock. And Kane when he still had his mask and was awesome.

    Goddamnit, WWE.

Now there's also an ECW championship scramble at Unforgiven.

    BAH.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Mage: The Ascension. Maybe next time.

An entertaining 'match' from this week's RAW, though the audio tends to get more attention then the visual as you'll see.
