So with my new shiny computer I wanted some new shiny icons to go with it. Proceeding to download said icons, I now find to my dismay that I cannot figure out how to change the system icons, as well as some apps like iTunes that stubbornly refuse to look better damnit. Anyway, under Windows Vista, how do I change all the icons?
right click
personalize
look at the left pane of the window it should say customize desktop or something.
should be in there (not at home so i dont remember exactly)
Ah yes, but that only allows the changing of the Recycle Bin, My Computer, and three or four others. What I'm looking for is a way to pretty much overwrite the entire default Vista icon theme and put my own in it's place. This includes replacing the folder icons, app icons, the whole shebang.

go to a folder (any folder)
look on the left side, same spot
should be folder options, those should be there.
You sir, are a saint. Worked perfectly, thank you very much.
