CAPTAIN AMERICA #43 Written by ED BRUBAKER
Pencils by LUKE ROSS
Cover by STEVE EPTING
Bucky has survived his first major trial as the new Captain America, but now a villain from his past - both as Bucky in WW2 and as the Winter Soldier during the Cold War - has come to the U.S. and he'll have to face his history just as he's finding his feet in the present. The beginning of a gripping war and espionage tale, with some familiar faces for long-term Cap readers, as the New Captain America moves further into the Marvel U. And for this action-packed three-part story, award-winning Cap writer Ed Brubaker is joined by acclaimed artist Luke Ross (Jonah Hex, Samurai).
The Iron Fist cover is neat. Image shack is being wonky for me right now though.
This is the press release/summary
Danny races to discover why all the previous Iron Fists except Orson Randall have died at age 33. But Danny’s just turned 33 himself, and a mysterious man with abilities too weird to fathom has shown up out of nowhere to kill him. So, yeah, that might have something to do with it. What killed every other Iron Fist, this one guy? Nah, couldn’t be. Unless...is this ultra-powerful man more than just a man? And how did the last Iron Fist, Orson Randall, dodge the inescapable fate that apparently killed all 65 of his predecessors? Don’t miss this blood-chilling chapter in the ever-growing mythos of THE IMMORTAL IRON FIST!
Also, when did everyone else learn to stretch like Mister Fantastic.
She's there. She's just invisible.
Also, good god I hate Ramos' art. That Runaways cover is so bad.
aside from the fact that the dude is wearing flip flops and socks, what is "so bad" about it?
Um. The proportions? CHASE'S ARM IS THE SIZE OF MOLLY.
He exaggerated Chase's size for comedic effect.
I don't care about the reasons (and, honestly, I wouldn't be willing to bet on that being the reason. He always draws Chase like a giant from what I've seen). It looks bad to me and therefore I do not like it.

NEW WAYS TO DIE: THE FINAL CHAPTER
Some jobs a man just has to do with his own two hands! For the first time in a loooong time, it's the one, true GREEN GOBLIN versus the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! And whoever walks away from this one still has to face... HARRY OSBORN?! Just what is HARRY up to?! Plus: ANTI-VENOM goes toe-to-toe with a classic villain from Spidey's past! This one’s got it all (including more pages!), Spider-Fans, and when it’s over, your eyes are gonna need a vacation!
has it really been that long since goblin and spidey fought? didn't ramos illustrate an epic battle with them fighting to the point of exhaustion and tears just a few years ago?

Yeah, I think it was something like, "He's a gym teacher at the same school Peter is teaching at, but he's been brain damaged somehow, and he doesn't remember that he and Peter are friends, and he only remembers that he should bully Peter".

Yeah, but he was in a coma before then, and the resulting brain damage caused him to forget his previous relationship with Peter Parker beyond what happened in high school.
None of that's really important, but I liked the idea of Peter and Flash as friends in the present and would rather not see that omitted from the new status quo along with everything else.

Does Sue die during Secret Invasion?
Also, when did everyone else learn to stretch like Mister Fantastic.
The name of Mark Millar's Fantastic Four arc is "The Death of the Invisible Woman"

I actually have all the issues of that I think but I'm tempted.

Would they let a brain-damaged man join the military?
And wiki says he's not friends with Peter anymore, so there's that.

It was not Peter David's finest hour.
