Ok yea, I read some of that, but I thought the big thing was that loners and bandits were broken, I thought I read freedom was still a winnable war.
Fyi, I ran past the other duty patrols and attacked their main base. Took the whole fucking thing out but no win. And when I left they all respawned, lol. The only good thing is I got a thunder or whatever that gun is called and an rp74 machine gun (cha ching 50k).
I don't know if I can leave my game like this or if I should reload all the way back to before I allied with freedom? The main reason was I allied w/ freedom was to get a fully upgraded SVDM2 which I've now got. So it wasn't a complete failure.
Second time through poking around for artifacts? Terror. Bloodsuckers, pseudodogs and... *SOMETHING* in that cave... Oh my.
Clear Sky really needs a vault or something where you can leave gear with out fear of it vanishing.

I guess? But what's a gun without ammo. My dude can pull 130lbs around with him but when I had the rp74 and a bunch of extra ammo for it I was struggling to stay under weight. I sold it for the money but I've found a second one, debating keeping it. The thing eats all mutants alive, except maybe psydogs, because you're too heavy to chase after them properly.

Underground fucking sucks, I can't see anything even with the flashlight, there is a constant sound of something breathing making me think there is something behind me and it is full to the brim with enemies who are now killing me in 2 shots. I prefer the open where I can pick people off from far far away.
I entered the underground after saving mole, I was first killed by bandits, then after killing them and progressing as slowly as possible, literally peeking around every corner (never done that before in a fps) I hear a roar and see the subtitle [Mutant attack], so I freeze and hide in a corner for about 10 minutes, I only leave when it looks clear, of course it looked clear because the mother fucking mutant was INVISIBLE!. He didn't kill me luckily but the soldiers that were alerted by our fight sure did. After trying again and picking off those soldiers I keep going slowly, through a long tunnel and the mindfuck begins, I get double vision and the screen keeps cutting to some dancing shadowman o_O I shoot wildly in front of me and get killed, try again, shoot wildly, get killed, turns out he was behind me, I try again, use a couple of medi packs and kill the fucker by again shooting wildly. He doesn't look so scary now. That was awesome!
Relieved to find an exit after my ordeal, I climb the ladder straight into a military compound and proceed to get fucked again as sirens go off and I am then destroyed by a guy in a watchtower and his mates. Damn!
On an unrelated note, drinking 17 bottles of vodka to see what happens was not a good idea, the rolling motion of the camera made me feel quite nauseous.
Holy shit, first time underground, I got to that guy who makes your vision zoom to him and then he seemed to have shockwaved away half my health. It felt like a horror movie, I shot blindly while screaming and ran for the nearest laddar. I haven't been underground since........

This was caused by the fact that the autosave function failed to save all data, and once such a saved game was loaded, the game became impossible to complete. If this error occurred, it was necessary to restart the game from the beginning.
- Fixed a bug with secondary objectives (Deliver item), which caused the arrow to point to the wrong NPC after a save/load.
- Changed the reward for lowering the bridge in the Red Forest.
- Changed the reward for killing bandits at the Freedom base filling station.
- Fixed the Freedom technician’s dialogue. After accepting a secondary objective, it became impossible to undertake/complete objectives to find flash drives.

Not much in there about fixing the Faction Wars however

These have all been linked but I don't know how to properly install them, in what order, etc. I just used Stolls' pack in SoC. Anybody care to help?
None of those mods listed interfere with each other. They should all extract to a Gamedata folder and appropriate sub directories.
In fact, all of them can be added and your saves won't be lost or corrupted either.
1.5.04 saved games will be compatible with patch 1.5.05.
In regards to your mod question Dr Snofeld, they are ridiculously simple to install. You have to modify your gamedata.ltx (I think this is it, not at home to check) once to let it read custom folders, then you put all mods in the gamedata directory (you might have to create) under your Stalker clear sky base folder. Just read the readmes with the mods.
