This is probably the wrong place to ask, but I figured it would be a good place to start.
My wife has the wonderwoman symbol tattooed on her left arm, and it gets mistaken all the time for something else like Weezer, or WWF, or Van Halen. So she wants to get a pinup style picture of the Amazon Princess tattooed nearby to avoid any confusion.
Now, I've tried looking for a nice modern picture of her in that sort of pose, but I'm coming up with nothing. So I figured I would ask, if anyone might know of a good issue or have a pic that might fit. Anything at this point would be a great help
At this point we are open to pretty much anything, as long as its a full length shot of her, and its not the super old Wonderwoman.
That Dodson one is the best and the one I was going to recommend. I saw him at WonderCon this year and his art work for the Wonder Woman stuff was beautiful. Made me upset with Heinberg
Not a big Wonder Woman fan, so I have to ask, storyline wise, is there an explanation for the star spangled undies?
American soldier died on Paradise Island fighting alongside the Amazons, so they honored her by integrating her symbol into the Wonder Woman outfit, or something like that.
The current story arc of Wonder Woman by Gail Simone has featured some really cool alternative Wonder Woman costumes. I don't have any scans available, but in the first issue of the arc, she is wearing a Nordic themed outfit with fur. Its a really good one. In the second issue of the arc she's wearing some chainmail, also a really good outfit.
Someone find that really good Wonder Woman costume in the first pages of that great JLA: Classified arc a long, long time ago. The one with the piece of glowing space rock (with mysterious space letters) that blew up a university on Themyscira and the JLA had to find the other pieces. Somehow it ended up with Flash at the end of time and GL pretending to be a samurai.
I remember being really impressed by Wonder Woman's casual wear.
They had these really dated looking CG covers, but the story itself was passable. It's just that it wasn't exciting because the entire premise of the story is that the JLA is so super powerful even god machine world destroyers aren't much trouble.
I want Wonder Woman's costume to be updated, but it seems like it's too iconic to be radically changed. I just want to get rid of the flag theme, stop it from looking like an old bathing suit, and add some shoulder straps.
yeah those were maybe the worst covers of the past decade, honestly.
the story's okay, as is the art. i would call it a fairly middle-of-the-road outing for both ellis and the jla. if you're really into one or the other, you might as well check it out at some point.

Yeah, though I remember it being better. I think there was a front shot as she welcomed people to the island, before shit started blowing up.

Yet I love it whenever a cape or skirt is thrown on
I really liked the Donna Troy Wonder Woman armor that Dodson designed

I like this one best.
Also, pretty cool Wonder Girl costume, and definitely better than the current one.

I should have clarified
There are some nice designs, but none of them (to me) would make a good permanent costume

Not the story you're talking about, but it's hard to go wrong with the Perez version.
Sonny Strait can draw?
I like this.
