One of my problems is that I actively enjoy playing with other players because they amuse me (marty, tyrannus, duld, etc.)

Yea, when I join a game and see maybe one person on my friends list ( three times today it was savoo) and about 8 on the other, I know it might get quite ugly...
Tonight was a relitavly fun night of TF2 but there were some moments of frustration and genraly being pissed of. Why must every one stack teams? Can't you put in the system that auto assigns you to a team so it's not just a steamroll every time (what was it 11-1 or something on gold rush tonight?). I've seen it on other servers and it genraly makes games much funner for all instead of forcing people to rage quit.
Also the hunted is a fun game on certain maps so wouldn't it be better to stick it to one of the better maps and just throw it into the rotation instead of activating it on some horendous maps were its either utter shit for the hunted team or the assasins.

I'll be on a team where it seems like i'm the only one with a mic, until we get steam rolled and somehow 3/4 of the team gets on the mic and complains about it. People make use of what you say, even the people you aren't directly talking to.

Communicating is part of what makes you a good player. That's like saying "it's not that we're good players, it's that between all the bullshit we kill people with unerring accuracy". It's part of the deal.
Less than half of our team bothered talking, and I was one of the few people in possession of a mic. The rest of the time ubers got squandered and people generally did fuck-all and screwed up repeatedly (invulnerable pyros running away from the enemy GO!) without explanation.
Put it whichever way you want, but your team completely outclassed ours, and you deliberately engineered that, and now you're trying to defend your bullshit with... more bullshit.
But hey, I like how you assume that I can't use a mic properly. Cheers.

No one engineers a team for a steamroll, I think.
I enjoy playing with Asiina, tyrannus, edcrab, iowa, marty, and some others. The more the merrier on the same team because they amuse me. To me, even if I'm losing, that's great stuff. They're personalities.
Being on a team where no one is talking or such bores the shit out of me so fast.

I'm sorry but I refuse to believe that anyone, even iowa et al, could be stupid enough to think that banding together with all their coincidentally high-skill friends wouldn't possibly throw the game's balance askew.
