Yeah, to echo everyone else...you did it again Stormy. Awesome.

For those of you who don't know, there used to be a feature (or something) about Storm Shadow on the main PA site. As in, at least one page redesign, probably more. I don't know how to access it anymore, but it was pretty amazing the setups he came up with.

My flat mate bought me them a while ago (when I had a flat mate). She thought it would be funny as I always told her the only reason I chose to move in with her was because she had a pool table and huge boobs.

I'm not sure where they are now, that was on the pic of how my room used to look before I replace it all with a futon etc.

I need to find my boobs.

Also Storm Shadow's setup is awesome.

That's sort of a family crest... but not mine. A million bonus points if you figure it out. ;)

Oh, I've got plenty of rig to run this gear, but not to it's full potential (check out ATi's Eyefinity technology here).

Currently running a Shuttle-based Q6600 rig, but to run the new dual-cooler slot ATi card I just got I'm gonna need to use the full-sized case that is in the 4U rackmount. It's kinda hard to see, but it's on the right rackmount above the amps in the pictures.

Somewhat of a change to mine - the addition of a Commodore 128, 1541-II drive and 1084 monitor. The SID chip sounds so much better using the real hardware than it does over an emulator

I've upgraded to an actual desk! Still working out how I want things arranged in the room, but it's a start.

    IMG_0316.JPG

I need to come up with a clever way to deal with wires. And by clever I mean "tape them along the edge of the desk or something".

I used to have a desk like that, keeping the fingerprints off drove me crazy. I'm not a clean freak by any means but fingerprints on things drives me nuts. Needless to say I had to switch desks.

(Also, people who point to something on your monitor and actually have to touch the monitor should be dragged out in the street and hit with a car)

It is even worse when you have to work on a Tablet PC (Like I do for College) and professors always touch the screen. First, the screen is all dirty now and second, thank you for clicking something because it is touch sensitive to anything and not just the stylus. :(

Oh man, touching my displays is my one 'thing'. I'm usually pretty chill about people messing with my stuff, particularly good friends, but touching my monitors would always elicit a pained response from me, and my friends could never understand why.

Am I reading this right? One card, six monitors and nothing extra expensive?
I've been looking at multimonitor gaming solutions and just about every way includes a large sum of money I don't have.
Of course this means a new video card (want DX11 anyway..) and lots of new monitors which would have happened anyway (same monitor for 15 years here..)

    I could kiss ATi.

No, that's not true at all. Ati going to be putting out a version of their 58xx cards that has 6 Displayport, um, ports on it, and will be able to drive 6 monitors at 1080p.

It's not out yet, but it's coming.
