So early 2004 I'm tooling around the internet trying to kill time at my job. I spend a lot of time at mp3.com because at this point in time they still have a few free songs for most bands on their site. Whenever I came across a band I like I would research them further using the google. One of the bands that I came across that I happened to like was The Fine Print. Googling brought me to this Wikipedia page, through which I came to this particular site.
It took me about 3 days of killing time to go through the entire archive at that point in time. Having burned the archive, I was ready to call the site a thrice weekly visit and be done with it until I clicked on the forums tab. I first went through about 5 threads in Linksville, then spent about a week in G&T. Not knowing any better, I wound up in the chatlog forum browsing a thread called "SocPAX: The Aftermath." After going through about 30 pictures, I came across a picture of 3 people in the Big Thunder Railroad train. One of them was a blonde wearing a black beanie. My immediate thought was "I want to sleep with her." And that's why I joined the forums.
I joined like four years ago for no particular reason. Lurked for two years then made some posts mostly asking questions about certain things. Only recently have I started to post a lot.

it was a busy day on another forum (i.e. over 10 posts in an hour) and i was like hey this place is kinda fast
and my buddy is like "not as fast as the PA forums"
I think I had computer problems and posted about it in G&T. Didn't get help, and didn't post much after that, but around May of 2004 I started posting here.
stopped posting on one forum and wanted another forum to post on, and i read the pa comics a lot before that and i remember reading the forums like twice so i went here again
read the comic, saw "forum" at the top, went into G&T, saw it was better than the vast majority I had seen up to then, made an account, started posting, and now i've ventured down here, to the bowls of the PA forums
i read the comic then noticed in D&D they had a harry potter thread so i posted in it and then i spent the next three years in D&D or so, and then I got permabanned just from D&D so I came here
Freshmen year of college was pretty uneventful so I had spare time in between classes, needed something to do. I decided to re-register at gamefaqs because, hey, that was a great forum when I was 14.
yeah took like an hour to close the forums and never come back. then i saw PA, a comic I've liked for a while, and registered. and that's it.
plus I'm a girl teehee so I figure hey if I register and advertise the fact that I'm a girl relentlessly while also saying how I like games and stuff and littering my posts with things like ^.^ and xoxoxox and ~~~~~ the boys would all shit themselves teehee and trip over their own feet to talk to me teehee I would be on a one-way track to getting all kinds of positive attention from lonely internet dudes teehee~

My grandma used to order the Official Playstation Magazine, and they occasionally had PA strips in there. I visited the site to read the rest of them, and when I was bored with re-reading the archives, I clicked the forum tab. I think I originally registered to post in the City of Heroes forum, and with how slow that was, I hopped over onto Happenstance and Ribaldry. I was a terrible poster.
In late 2003 (December-ish) i'd browse some sites during the occasional design class and would work on some game projects at the same time. Penny Arcade was a regular site to visit and presented a neat community that worth lurking for a while before joining in 2004 to answer some questions people had about the interactive industry. It's been a pretty enjoyable place since then with some genuinely wonderful people.

you didn't even have to ask. if you happened to post in a thread where there was talk of her and nude pictures, you'd probably end up with a pm that had the address and password to her nudie photbucket account
