    Bungie announced that more info regarding the panels they are doing as far as scheduling will be given this week.. That implies that Bungie has a panel.. and that schedule is released within a weeks time..

    Bungie stated that there would be no big announcements... now that just isn't fair. I want to know what the title of the next Halo game is gonna be!

    And I don't stand a chance against Luke and Shiska. Its simple mathematics. Me+Fighting Luke and Shiska= epic failure.Maybe if I write them a thought out letter they will give me Recon...

    But seriously. Why won't they announce anything special at PAX? I mean, its going to be bigger than E3 soon (If it isn't already). Or perhaps they are lying.... only time will tell.

    I was hoping for a mini trailer for the Halo movie. Or they could pull a comic con 07 watchmen panel where all they had for watchmen was a measley poster...

    Im just wondering how they are going to handle the enormous line of people waiting to play Luke and Shiska. And how they are going to fill the tourney slots with everyone crowding the bungie booth and waiting in their line. Maybe this will be the year for the standbys/alternates. Lol.

    They can't announce anything because they were snubbed at E3. Hence, any plans they had that depending on projects being announced aren't happening, including the Fanfest.

    Which we all know PLENTY of people (myself included) will be more than happy to oblige. Can't wait for more info. Recon or not I just want a shot at Luke and Shiska.

    Well, they were snubbed at E3, but this could be there way of getting back at them and announcing everything (or some really cool stuff) at PAX, which basicially says that PAX is infinitley cooler, and we all know that is true.

    And there is no Valve. But this is not a "I wish Valve was there" thread, so I will stop.

    They work in the games industry. That automatically makes it a 99% chance that anyone who has ever played Halo will be able to beat them by a significant margin.

    If they want to bump that chance to 100%, they should have the Frag Dolls sub in.

    Uh, actually, they haven't.

    If they were announcing something, they'd say it was so. They were in fact, saying to come to PAX. then they openly stated that what they had been doing is cancelled.

    I gotta figure they are NOT repeat NOT going to announce anything at PAX. If they do it will be a nice surprise. But if you go to PAX expecting an announcement expect dissapointment. Luke and Shiska will in fact not be easy to beat, and trouncing them is a badge of honor I'll wear for life.

    FD comment was priceless though! LOLZ!

    Ok so IDK why it's so much trouble for PA to put their new info (like the exhibition hall layout) on their main page with their updates but Kotaku seems to have their s together enough to post it for them.

    Are you a huge Halo fan? If not, then that's probably why you don't understand. Everyone has that one or two things that they love and we love Halo, which is why it is important to us. I'm sure that there is something that everyone likes that makes no sense to someone else.

    It's such a "big deal" that people will flock to bungies booth if they are in fact doing an open challenge and all ya gotta do is wait in line. This is a VIDEO GAME convention if I am not mistaken. Most nerds (myself included) care very much about their in-game (read not RL) appearance.

    although if I make it to PAX I'm planning on having mine auctioned off for charity, as I have no use for Spartan armor.

    If you plan on doing that, make sure you talk to the bungie guys first. The armor is linked to your gamertag and only available while connected to Live.

    Getting Recon Armor would be REALLY cool.
    This isn't going to stop me from trying, but I love how annoying some people are about others who have Recon, I heard one of the people who were given Recon had his Gammertag stolen... Anyone know how to make your Gammertag more secure?

    You don't, they got it through social engineering of the phone support line.

    It's why Bungie doesn't publically list the gamertags that have recieved Recon anymore.
