also I want to see a game that takes battlefield heroes and combines it with the 40k universe. have the character editor look like a mini and you paint it and equip it but the mini becomes animated like a normal character when you join the game. there is no way this couldn't be awesome

Yeah, gun lines suck, especialy dwarven gunlines. As an Orc player, gunlines generaly tend to rape me from the sheer facti my Armor saves suck as is. Anyways, wwwaaaaaaagh!

Unless, for some stupid reason, CE accounts can't log in from Elder installs. I can log in as an elder still.
edit: eeeep, logging in as an elder only brings up Deathsword and it is closed. Fuuuuuuuck me, to the beta boards!

Your Open Beta Key is your Closed Beta Key.
You put that into your beta centre, it says you have the CE Pre-order association, and Mythic sends out Closed Beta invites. Apparently they're done sending them out though, but there might be one last wave. We'll have to see on that.
That being said, can I have your second Open Beta key? :P

How many codes are on the paper with the keys? If its only two codes, one for Beta one for Headstart/Items, than yeah, they gave you the wrong one. The CE papers not only say 'Thank you for preordering Warhamer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition', but also have 3 codes, one for beta, one for head-start, and one for items.
If they didn't give you the latter, go bitch at them. They got those in before the standard preorder boxes, at least the one here did, so they should have them. At any rate they should have called you then to pick it up.

Are we Order or Destruction, because I'm order but I'm willing to switch if you guys are Destruction.
I went Destro because it's close enough to retail release that I want to start getting a head start on learning skills with what will be my main class.
I was playing Order in earlier phases because I didn't want to spoil things, but I can't help myself.
I'm so torn now. I really want to play Order, and I firmly believe that Destruction will continue to vastly outnumber them when the game goes live. But The Inevitable City is so damn awesome. It'd be worth playing on the overpopulated side if only because I could hang out there while waiting for scenarios.

The one I just got is the bullshit one you just described. the one I got when I first preordered appears to be the right one, but when I went to add the code at the Accont Center I get "Hurf durf you can't add it yet."
Well, it looks like for whatever reason Mythic just hates me and I won't get into the CB, so I spent the buck and bought the SE pre-order at Target today.

Good words. I think we can guess what issue he's talking about, and the reaction we've heard certainly seems to confirm the importance.
They're just words though, and if they don't have the confidence to lift the NDA within two weeks or so, there are going to be launch problems.

Yeah I've been getting crashed roughly every 10-15 minutes. Hopefully its patched out. Send a bug report while you're ingame.
I've had it crash to desktop (no error, just disappears) every now and again, but more often the server goes down randomly.
I've just been getting lots of the first one. No biggy.
It is after all, a beta.
Yea but this version of the client seems to be way more unstable then the one before the preorders got in.

In my personal experience yes. Ive have seen 5-6 crashes today alone. I don't think I had that many in the last build period.
