I think Trackmania DS was hinted at a while back, but now we have video:

We had a few rounds of the PC version at the Birmingham G&T/PAX meetup, and I love it.

This looks ace, especially the testing in realtime.

    It's... Trackmania, but on the DS. That's a big nod in the game's favour. It looks like an uncannily faithful port; the graphics look really similar to Nations, which is pretty goddamn impressive. Awesome framerate too.

    I'll definitely get this. I lurve me some Trackmania.

    That is pretty impressive 3D by DS standards, it has to be said.
    If it has download play, sold. If not, I'll probably still consider it.

    My friends are cheap and I can't get my DS online.
    Download play is therefore kind of important to me.

    Granted, I played Midtown Madness 2 singleplayer, but that's hardly a game that's been matched since.

    Sadly, it has no online modes, single player and local multi only. Not even online track sharing :/

    Is it going to be free? I doubt it, but it looks to be fun. I always enjoyed making custom tacks and sharing them. I used to run a Trackmania server when I worked at a LAN Cafe with nothing but custom maps. If they can reproduce that experience I would be a happy camper.

    I liked Trackmania Nations Forever (whichever one it was that's free) and I might pick this one up. Hell, I ought to buy the big package off Steam while I'm at it.
