WAR stands for
Warhammer Online, Age of Reckoning it's an MMO set around the Warhammer Universe, which is not your little brother's fantasy world. It's gritty, bloody, and violent, centered around large scale conflicts and endless bloodletting. (Surprisingly enough, the game is rated T.) The developers, EA Mythic, promise to bring players to the battlefield as soon as possible, even if you just started off. Hell, that's your starting area! The game is spun around a similar Horde vs. Alliance conflict, (Order and Destruction) with their own individual conflicts (Order Dwarves vs. the Destruction Greenskins, for example.)
So? This is just WoW with a new coat of paint.
Not so. In WoW, what does a guild mean to you? A nice chat channel, an easier way to start a raid, and a place to put your stuff right? In WAR, EA Mythic are implementing what is called the Living Guild system. Guilds actually have a seeable and noticable impact on the game world. Guilds can capture keeps out in the wild, design their own war banners, adorned with war trophies (the head of an opposing guild's leader for example), and guilds level up as a player would.
WAR has gone under many delays, and Warhammer fans like myself should be pretty siked for this game.

If the president had any real power, he'd be able to live wherever the fuck he wanted.
as long as maplestory exists (or any free korean game), no one will topple that throne
THQ has the rights to that and should have you covered; it is still in preproduction though.

Yes.
It was a stick.
The four classes didn't work well at the time. And the four capitals will definitely be put back in and released as content updates rather than as part of an expansion. There's an email or comment from Paul their marketing guru confirming their commitment to:
A) Putting the capital cities into the game once their done and perhaps revising the mechanics and issues of the cut classes
and
Including them as content updates and saving cooler things for the proper expansion.
