Hi! I'm new here at the forums but have been reading penny arcade for 3 years now.
I decided that my first post would be about instant action since that's where i spend most of my time these days.
Instant action is a game station in your browser. You can play all the games inside your browser, but don't be fooled, these are not some retarded flash games - these games have modern graphics and serious gameplayability.
Thank you sir. Been a pleasure to learn you something new.
eh, you seem fairly agreeable, so I'll just let you know that threads like this don't tend to get looked on too kindly in these forums. Something in the rules about 'no sitewhoring'. If you want to advertise your site, then you can put it in your sig (perhaps with a delightful eye-catching banner!).
I don't even post here that much, but even I know the mods are pretty strict about stuff like this.

Still, at least I get to add 'gameplayability' to my personal lexicon.
Kudos on the neologism there, good sir.
That's more of a nonce - ie, a word invented for a single use.
In other words, I'm saying don't ever use that word again.
I don't think it's fiddled any kiddies has it?
It wouldn't surprise me, it's just that awful.
Seriously, how did that word come to mean that?
No, i'd love to know the etymology, here. Someone explain before this thread gets taken out back and shot.
I guess - you get caught doing it once, you never live long enough to do it again?
Etymology
It is possible that it is an abbreviation of nonsense or nonsense case, perhaps derived as British prisoner slang for prisoners who have committed a "nonsense crime", as opposed to a crime such as theft.[1] [3]
It is also possible that it comes from the acronym used in prisons to describe said individuals: "Not On Normal Communal Exercise" or "Not on Normal Courtyard Exercise".
There is also evidence for a possible connection with nancy, a derogatory term referring to effeminate or homosexual males, and with a dialectical use of "nonse" to refer to a worthless person. [4]

Interesting. I always heard it in the fiddlin' context. That 'not on normal courtyard excercise' thing is fascinating, actually. So there's the possibility it was kind of an unintentional acronym, unless whoever thought it up was aware of the existence of the word 'nonce' (sorry, I'm pretty hard-line on what the definition of an acronym is - the letters have to make up an existing word. It really bus me that some people think that CIA is an acronym. Its an abbreviation.)
uh, yeah, instant action. It actually does sound good, but i'm at work, so no dice.
I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume he isn't a sitewhore and just say that we already have both Instant Action and Fallen Empire threads to post in

It kind of is when it's just a link + "these games are great." It doesn't really take much that more content to make a serviceable OP.
It may have been a shitty opening post. But really, all people needed to do was

Go there for the instant action thread, or

Although saying that, I did find this thread, so I should shut the hell up because you were probably all right in the first place.
