Here's the thing...right now I have an airbed. I'm waiting for a new bed to arrive. Anyway, it deflated last night while I was sleeping and I was apparently in a particular position in which all my ribs were being crushed for hours upon hours.
Today I feel extremely weak. But...I feel a lot weaker than I would expect, especially as this has happened before.
I kind of feel shallow of breath and I'm having a hard time moving around. Could it be that I slept against the floor in the exact wrong position, or could this be coincidence and I maybe came down with Pneumonia?
I know, it's a good idea to see a doctor if I'm concerned or whatever but I'd have to break plans if so and I'm not sure I want to do that if I'm just babying myself.
I feel extremely weak though. It's kind of worrisome. Like I was out drinking the night before and got home at 1AM and I felt pretty much fine the next day. Yesterday I went to bed early, no alcohol at all, and today I feel like total shit.
That's what I'm thinking. But christ do I feel awful.
Yeah, the odds that you managed to come down with pneumonia out of the blue, at the exact same time your ribs got "crushed for hours upon hours" and you probably slept very lightly most of the night.....Pretty low.
Find something resembling a real bed and go to sleep early tonight, chances are you'll feel a lot better tomorrow
Well, the typical signs of Pneumonia are a high fever and phelgm - those are the ones that happen the most. Shortness of breath isn't uncommon either, but I'd say if you're not experiencing one of the previous two I mentioned, my first guess would be what PirateJon suggests. You may want to take your temperature if you're feeling so badly.

Oh, I stupidly didn't mention this.
One day, at my last job (three years ago, or thereabouts), I started having chest pain. While this pain feels specific to the left side of my chest/body, I'm more or less experiencing the same symptoms I was back then: Weakness, Lightheadedness/Dizzyness, Chest/Rib pain. No phlegm or coughing, either. I may be asymptomatic. My manager sent me to the hospital and they determined that I had Pneumonia. I feel pretty much the same way. But admittedly I wasn't sleeping directly on my ribs the night before that happened.
You probably strained a bunch of the small muscles in your ribcage - and didn't get much sleep. But if you're that concerned about it, go to the doctor.
I learned my lesson yesterday when I went to the doctor for a strange cough I'd had that just wouldn't go away, and it turned out to be pneumonia. And I felt fine otherwise, had been going to the gym/work and everything - I actually felt like a bit of a wuss for going just for a "cold", I only went because my boyfriend's parents (both doctors) had urged me to. So who knows? You might as well get it checked out. Pneumonia's pretty easy to detect, I think, so you'll at least get a quick answer.
Thanks everyone. I think I'm okay, though. I decided to uh drink at lunch and I feel a lot better now. I'm not sure that's necessarily a good thing but I'm willing to bet it was just physical pain from the way I slept.
edit: Maybe I'll go to the doctor's tomorrow anyway. I've been having sinus issues so I can just ask him to check for Pneumonia too.
