Do you know how many artist just take an existing picture and just trace it, or just walk out and take a picture and then trace over it instead of doing it freehand?

Many artists do that, but Frank Cho is definently not one of them. I've never seen any real person look like a suit of robotic armor or a nine foot tall god of war, and Cho's women have incredibly unrealistic proportions.
There are at least 20 things wrong with that picture.

I think Sentry is GOD in the Marvel Universe. Power Wise. If you said The Living Tribunal or Galactus could kick his ass I would understand but Thor? I know Im late to the thread but Sentry is Pre Crisis Superman.
Bringing this back up due to the first of at least two articles from Newsarama featuring a chat with Frank Cho about his work on the Mighty Avengers title, speaking about his hookup with Marvel, teaming up with Bendis, and his look on a few of the characters.
[spoiler:8d721e87b4]He also adds his own teasing fuel to the rumor fire that there might be someone else in the Iron Man suit by MA#1 if not earlier due to what he says as well as the black & white version of the first issue's cover showing Ms. Marvel giving out the the classic Avenger battle cry.[/spoiler:8d721e87b4]
God of War he may be, but I doubt Marvel are going to give up their 'Thor + Hammer > Everybody Else' policy.
I could be worng, but Bendis (who is writing both Avengers' books) I think said in a recent Wizard Magizne interview that Ares would beat Thor in a fight. That's not to say that Marvel won't bring the editorial smackdown on any arcs that have Thor losing a fight to anyone but Hulk, but on the other hand, I guess they usually let Bendis do his own thing, so who knows?
war= man-made
thunder/lightning= force of nature.
nature>man
war cannot destroy thunder and lightning, thunder and lightning can destroy armies/countries.
also, odin>zeus.

please stay consistent. Either lightning > war, or Odin > Zues. You can't have both.
Ares has been beat before by Hercules, so I'm not liking his chances against Thor. That was before Ares became Marvel's coolest character, though - so things could change.

There is an infinite amount of things wrong with your reasoning. That's not how gods work in the Marvel universe.
That is not to say that Bendis isn't totally wrong about Ares being able to beat Thor, though.

Wasn't there some throwaway line in one of his minis about how he fought Galactus to a standstill at one point in the past, before the memory-erasure stuff?
Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you? Didn't you read the forum rules? When Spectre-X is around A) His opinion is the only valid one and You don't correct him.
Are there any gods in comics who perform miracles, create life, and pass judgement instead of just, you know, fucking around with super-villains and occasionally getting killed?

all this reminds me of my favorite line from runaways, when molly accidentally joins up with all those other kids, and one of them ran away because her parents were too religious or whatever, so she worships thor now.

the odin vs zeus thing was a measure of cool factor anyway. and cool factor, like flame decals on a car, add around 80 horsepower.

Thor may be more powerful, but Thor isn't as hardcore as Ares.
has ares ripped out both his eyes and hung himself in search of answers?
We are talking about comic book Thor.
And he didn't do any of that.
Neither did mythological Thor, or any Thor.
who doesn't enjoy reading about new characters, i say
Ares set himself on fire and had Hercules throw him into a crowd of samurai zombies.
Thor Dissasembled?
GODS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!

I haven't read that, so you could very well be.
My bad!
Most of the DC Gods are like that.
