Constantly losing internet connectivity

Every 2 minutes or so, I'll lose my wireless signal. When this happens, I have to double click the Wireless Network Connection icon on the system tray and reconnect. I've only recently had this problem since moving to a place with internet that is provided by the landlady, who is using a Linksys WRT54G with WEP.

I'm using a Linksys wireless network adaptor, WUSB11 v2.6

Any ideas? Thanks.

someone on that connection is killing the bandwidth most like. I tried to be nice and leave my wireless unsecured but someone decided to abuse it and kept kicking me off my laptop.

I kind of suspected, since the connection is better at other times. Guess I'll try to send out an e-mail and ask whoever it is to torrent from 3-7 AM or something.
