Gran Turismo 4

Ok, I love the Gran Turismo games, and I bought the fourth one cheap today. Just one small question.

WHY WON'T IT WORK ON MY PS2!

the dang thing won't load. Whats goin on? This is the only game that I have a problem with.

    because it's on a DVD-9.

    I'm guessing your PS2 won't load games on CDs, either (the discs that are blue rather than silver)?

    I got Half-life, and thats a blue disk. Works fine. Does have a bit of trouble with the old PS1 blackdisks, but don't most PS2's?

    my slim doesn't.

    But what I'm saying is that the disc drive on the old fat PS2 is really picky and GT4 isn't exactly standard.

    No idea how to fix it, unfortunately.

    Either use a DVD lens cleaner of some sort, or follow a tutorial like this one to clean and realign the lens and tray. If that doesn't work, go to a pawn shop and get a new one.
