Up until now, the game has been fairly static, and that limits the number of strategies that can be used in tough situations, leaving the uber as the only balls-out choice. The new weapons throw some strategy and some other options into the mix.

How does the blower hold back an uber?
Walk up to them, hit right click.
And if they were unfortunate enough to be jumping at the moment, juggle them in the air until you run out of ammo.

No use shooting up a demo that's standing near me if I'm doing far less damage than I would normally. As it is the matching's pretty close, with reduced damage any competent demo should win every time
It makes the heavy an annoying harassment class, because if there's one thing more frustrating than running around slowly dying of flames or being pecked to death by a son of a bitch scout, it's getting slowed down by a hitscan weapon.
With this I can see, especially when trying to break through a strong defense with an uber, heavies slowing people down as they try to push through the knockback to get to a sentry or two. I'd actually like to see how this affects movement while fighting sentries and ubered. Are you just going to be stuck in one place if you have both firing at the same time?
I don't think it will work that way. Normal bullets can't penetrate an ubered player, so I don't see why Natascha's bullets would.
It would be silly if the slowdown affected you even when you're invincible.
Depending on the location and how it's used., it can be a minor annoyance or it can completely nullify the uber entirely. It does a decent amount of knockback so if the medic or the guy he's ubering is near a bridge/ledge/whatever (such as the bridge before the last point on dustbowl round 3), it's quite easy to break up.
The worst I've seen was yesterday when I ubered a pyro and he was juggled in the air by another pyro until the uber ran out. It doesn't happen too often but it can be annoying when it does.

Except you rarely ever see anyone run around with the leafblower let alone use it properly when an uber comes up.
On pubs, maybe. They always act like I must be hacking or something when I manage to completely nullify an uber coming out of the BLU spawns at Gravelpit B.
Also, speaking of pubs, nothing makes me happier than killing the same engineer and his buildings over and over again as he tries to set up a base in the SAME SPOT every time, until he says "Die Faggot!" and ragequits. Ahhhh.

Natascha will be a great team player, certainly, but I don't think it will help snipers much. If the target is getting hit with enough bullets to be slowed constantly, he's kinda dead without the sniper's help - if the target is getting hit only sporadically, he'll be slowing down and speeding up erratically, which will throw off the sniper's aim. A revving heavy getting hit by any amount of Natascha bullets will just seal the deal, though.

The second unlockable for the Heavy, Natascha allows the Heavy to slow enemies with her bullets. Enemies taking damage from her will find themselves moving slower for an instant, encouraging them to find cover or deal with the Heavy. Unfortunately, her firepower is somewhat weaker than that of Sasha, so the Heavy will find it takes longer to finish them off. As a result, Natascha's great to use against those that want to get away, like Scouts & Medics, and not so great against those trying to kill you. Heavies that like to jump around corners to surprise groups of enemies will also find it very useful, although it's best to make sure there isn't a Sasha-wielding Heavy there.

Natashca seems like a weapon made to target smaller, faster classes. This will give more incentive for soldiers to rocket jump away if they are jumped by one.

That would be cool. I also hope the bullet belt actually moves. That alone would be enough for me to use it.
I almost guarantee it will. Valve has to work hard to differentiate these weapons; otherwise it's just too confusing and overwhelming in battle.
EDIT: I like the mods I see, but I want the real characters in there. When I walk into City 17, I want to see the Engineer on the train playing his guitar, and the heavy standing in the line for the dispenser looking sad.

That appears to be a feed chute, not the belt. The ammo belt is inside the chute, to keep it from flailing around and getting caught on stuff. :P
The forum should have a vote for some funny phrases that don't exist in the game resources, scrounge up some donations, and hunt down the voice actors. That talent is going to waste, I tell you.

This is what I'm saying. The unlocks are really tailored for blocking ubers from accomplishing their goal.
I don't like the leafblower but I can't argue against the fact that it's at its most effective when it's blowing an uber around.
