But still, a full drop ship carrying a full APC carrying a full compliment of Jet packs?? Want. Imagine getting a binocs kill on that haha Gotta be a new trophy invented for that.
I'm imagining this scene. Swooping into the enemy strong hold in a dropship, missiles firing everywhere. Landing on a hot LZ, dropping the APC and lifting straight off again to provide covering fire for it. The APC screaming along with people using machine guns and rocket launchers.
Then all players, minus the driver of the two vehicles, disembarking and soaring into the sky, raining down an ocean of rockets *drools* Thats basically Warhawk pornography.
That much awesome would cause your Playstation 3 to melt into a black puddle of goo.

I'm so terrible at this game. For me, getting a victory is killing a person once after they've killed me so many times their name is etched on my screen. Can you be in two clans at the same time? If not, I may have to disband the old PA one that isn't being used whatsoever.

They should just make it so they aren't ranked servers. I would be more then willing to play unranked everyonce in a while to enjoy the epicness of having all those baddass vehicles in one map. What I want to know though is, what exactly would unbalance? Both teams have identical bases, identical ships, and weapons. They could just use the same unbalanced tactics on eachother. Plus there are no class issues since you equip yourself.
The only reason I can think of is that one of the vehicles would just dominate the other. Which is ridiculous, hell I would think they balance eachother out nicely. One transports vehicles, and has a terribly effective offensive weapon. The other transports troops and has an effective defensive weapon.
Can I get an invite to the clan? I've just started getting back into this game (Land mines were pissing me off) and I'd love some people to play with. The only problem is I really can't play this in front of my young kids so the times I can play are odd and sporadic. (part of the reason I'm looking forward to LBP so much) Still I'd like to be able to join you guys if I happen to be on at the right time.

I would also like to join this clan, you speak of. If you accept players who are awful at this game (although, I will say, I'm better at most other games so I'm a bit perplexed by Warhawk at the moment). PSN in signature.

Trying for these trophies is pretty fun. I loved my anti-air ninja one. I got it in a jetpack game where I hovered up and killed a warhawk with a flamethrower. Pretty freaking epic.

On another note I was trying to get the 2500 foot sniper shot medal, and accidentally got the "Are you aim botting?". Which brings me to my next point. Has anyone noticed that your number of hits you take in the jetpack seems to be lower then normal?
Edit: and does anyone know of a way of marking your friends in game? I was playing with Mario last night in a CTF game and trying to help him get Taxi driver, but I only was able to find him once. I wasn't able to use my headset cause my wife was hanging out with me and its kinda rude to do that. I just wish I could have people marked so I can go to where ever they are. Ya hear me?

I really enjoy this game, but i loathe getting into random matches full of fucktards who aren't playing the given game mode properly. I see lots of potential in the collection mode for example, but i'll be damned if i've been in a single fucking match of Collection where anyone played it properly.
Do you guys regularly play the DLC packs or can I do without it for now? The reason I'm hesitant is that I'm not sure how much time I'm going to play this in a couple of months when, say, SOCOM and other 360 stuff are released.

There were like 5 people on my team with mics and we were all comunicating cordinating core transport and defence and each of us got a 4 core capture to win the game 52-5. So yeah the game does indeed have the potential but unfortunatly people either don't have a headset or mute everyone and pretend we're all bots that don't have anything relivant to say... ever.
Haha, these trophies are awesome. I'm just messing around in an unranked game, so I'm going in the warhawk a lot more than usual, and I send a huge amount of swarm missiles at someone, even thinking to myself (wow, this is a lot, I think this is going to be overkill) and then bam, I kill him and get a trophy called "overkill" for it.

Typically I only really dig online games for deathmatch. Not team deathmatch, straight-up deathmatch. The only variant I like to play is when I'm looking out for myself. But when I do, I love it. Call of Duty 4 and Halo 2 and 3 kept me hooked quite a while in this manner.
Maybe not, this is a very team oriented game, but it's very spread out so you will be by yourself often if you choose to be. Watch some videos, i guess
i've had a good few games today. ranked first a couple of times which was awesome. i still haven't bought the expansions yet and i was planning on it, but to be honest the initial, stand-alone stuff is more than fun enough

Typically I only really dig online games for deathmatch. Not team deathmatch, straight-up deathmatch. The only variant I like to play is when I'm looking out for myself. But when I do, I love it. Call of Duty 4 and Halo 2 and 3 kept me hooked quite a while in this manner.
Even in the team games (CTF and Zone), you can basically play the game like a deathmatch if you like.
