Something specific, or stuff in general? You could probably set out to learn how to build a table or something but if you have access to a library the best self improvement you can ever do, and that anyone has ever been able to do, is to read a whole bunch of good books. Solzehnitsyn just died, maybe you could read some of his stuff.

    Computer programming language.
    Cook exotic/unique foods.
History of your country (or other countries).
Solve Rubik's Cube or learn to juggle.
    Parkour.
    Foreign Language.
    Read books on Religion.
Become a wine/beer/rum/vodka connoisseur via reading (and maybe some drinking if age appropriate).
Read books on psychology or philosophy.

I don't really know what to say because you are being pretty vague. Libraries and the Internet offer near limitless options on what you want to learn or do. You could teach yourself advanced math or physics if you really wanted to as well, but without knowing what you are interested in this thread will fall flat.
