Well, I started playing. I started walking around, until I was pushed into a raging inferno. I barely survived, and I spent the next while trying to not die. People were trying to figure out what was wrong, but a lot of salve and an oxygen tank later and I was still dying. Then I saw someone murder someone, then in my last breath I punched the dude in the face while being welded into somewhere with no oxygen.
But every critical patient I tried to treat died, is there something specific I'm suppose to do? I was trying to stuff em with rejuvs then bruise/ointment/whatever but it was useless.
And how do I cure a drug overdose?
[edit]
Funny how no one knew I went a good portion of the game with a fully charged laser pistol in my backpack. :P Just in case I had to give out some... "preventive medicine".

Normally, I'm pretty averse to murder without being the traitor. However, when the current captain witnesses the beating to death of the two previous captains, the AI is going haywire, and people are getting horribly burned, my patience for crazy people in the brig who won't shut up is very limited. So limited, in fact, that I took great pleasure in forgoing the whole trial thing for an obvious murderer by beating the prisoner's head in with a toolbox and tossing them in the brig locker. With an immense amount of satisfaction, I then went to watch as the crazy AI was eventually beaten to death.
Unfortunately, I was then promptly murdered by the computer assassin. At least my victim's murderer got what was coming to him.
A few minutes before the explosion, I was trying to break through an airlock to get to the escape pods and leave. Forcing a powered airlock open is harder with a crazy AI.
But every critical patient I tried to treat died, is there something specific I'm suppose to do? I was trying to stuff em with rejuvs then bruise/ointment/whatever but it was useless.
And how do I cure a drug overdose?
Make sure you are targeting the part of the body that is injured. Change where you are targeting by clicking places on the little dude in the top right.
I dunno. Stick 'em in a sleeper and wait?

How does I cryoed mans?
Shit happens. People die. As a doctor, your job is to prevent that from happening. When people are still in positive health, that's easy enough. The fun starts when someone reaches 0% healthy or below. A few interesting things happen at this point. One, unless it got changed at some point, it is physically impossible to hurt someone who's health is below 0%. Two, first-aid healing does not function. Three, the person starts to slowly suffocate, until they reach -100% healthy, which is death. A person in this state needs serious healing. Luckily, serious healing exists, in the cryo suite.
Step one: Locate the dying person.
Once the mostly-dead person has been found, they need to be brought to a sleeper posthaste. To halt the suffocation process, use CPR or injected Rejuvinators. Note that neither lasts overly long, so haste is still needed. Once you get them into a sleeper, you can relax a bit. A character's health will not degrade while in a sleeper, so you can dump them in there until you've got the cryo set up.
Once they're in the sleeper, take a look at how hurt they are with the sleeper console, to get an idea of how quick you'll want to be once it's time to get them into the cryo tube.
Use the sleeper panel to fill the dude with rejuvs, and pop the near-stiff out of the sleeper and pop them in the tube. Then go to the freezer unit, and set it to transfer oxygen, plasma, and coolant into the cryo tube. Do NOT set the coolant transfer to 10, that will kill your patient. I've found that setting to 3 works good, then drop it down to 1 once the freezer unit is at -95. At this point, you can click the cryo tube to watch the patient's (hopefully) recovery.
((Note the coolant setting of 6. This killed my initial test subject.))
Assuming things worked right, your patient will be alive as in this shot, and not dead from burns suffered from the cryo tube. Cryo burns occur when the temperature in the tube change rapidly, such as what happens when the tube is cooled at level 10 while the man is in it. If you haven't killed him, his health should steadily improve back up to 100% healthy, at which point you can shut off the transfer on the freezer and pop the guy out of the tube and back into the sleeper.
Congrats! Wait for the Paralysis summary to hit 1 second left, then eject them from the sleeper. You just saved a guy's life!

Whoever played as Kyle Hyde in this current game, and released all of my plasma, then abandoned mob and came and lit it on fire can seriously go suck a huge dick.
What the fuck, man. 2 people in the game and you grief the ONLY thing we are doing? Way to be a fucking grade A twat.

So, you know how the prototype engine can be used to make 'thermal detonator' bombs that make nice clean circular holes in the station? I found a way to make one without using the prototype engine.
