Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.
I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.

I must say, for supposedly being made with superheated engine plasma, there was far too little damage evident. Was the plasma from the main engine?

It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.

Yeah, that must've been the worst bomb ever to actually explode. Some hull plating peeled up, some injury TO THE PERSON HOLDING ONE OF THE BOMBS, but nothing like whole sections of the station getting ripped apart. Probably would've been a lot better off spending the time to heat the plasma normally.
Congrats on whoever pulled off that assassination at the end, too. Sleepy pen + turning down 02 = brilliant. Especially since so many other people suffocated themselves.

pub severs are pretty bad, last one i played on they blew up the recruit docking area, and everyone was flying around in suits trying to kill each other for no reason, and the power was out.

Really, with main engine plasma, those bombs were pretty much doomed to suckitude from the start. Unless the first thing your engineers do upon round start is ignite the engine, the siphon pipe (up to the on/off valve) will fill with unheated oxygen, which means you have to drain off the engine for a bit before you get to the hot stuff.

Yeah. But the engine temperature gauge said 1998 degrees.
Oh man, the best way to play this game is to commit suicide horribly from the start. As captain, I stripped naked except for my brown shoes and sunglasses, took a laser pistol in one hand, and my ID in the other. I then dove into the igniting engine, and shot my face off.

I had that station working like a charm, I watched Demo up there detonate some bombs, I over saw engineering fix the proto engine and get the station up and running. Hell I even had to take over our dead traitor captain after she threw herself into the engine while it was at full burn. It was glorious, until you random guys blew it up...for no reason. I hate you all, and I need more booze, I can type clearly now which means I'm sober...
But that said, I love you all.

If you knew the traitor was dead you should have said so and voted to restart the round.

Only at the end did end figure this out. Well not the end yet. I didn't care because I was busy being a noob in engineering. Then people thought it was a good idea to fuck me up and do random shit instead of asking for a restart or something.
Oh no, you misunderstand. I was the Captain, not the traitor. I just wanted to commit suicide, so I did. Came back half an hour later as Addit Ionalstaff, and everything was peachy, but no killing. So I fixed it.

Haha, that wasn't me. I got shot in the face with a laser. I tried to run, I tried to hide, but I failed on breaking through to the other side of the stupid door.
Edit: And if you're going to take someone's ID, put an ID on the dead body..
Oh, I took about half a dozen ID's that round. Didn't have time to plant fakes on ALL the bodies.
Oh I was talking about the new round.
And what the fuck.. if you aren't the traitor don't just start doing stupid shit as soon as the round starts. Filling the shuttle with plasma 10 minutes into the game is not cool if you aren't the traitor.

Something I got to appreciate tonight is how seemingly random the damage/kill system is. I'm in the main hallway, see somebody dragging around a plasma tank, and get sleepy penned in the middle of questioning them. Much to my surprise, nobody is around to help me (in the main corridor, no less!). So, of course, I wait for the inevitable beating/choking to death and waiting out the rest of the round as an observer.
Much to my surprise, I wake up some time later missing only my laser pistol (still had my tazer) with burnt hands (the culprit burnt a hole in the tank right beside me, but didn't start a fire somehow), a smashed leg, and a horribly bruised pelvis. Now royally pissed, I head off to the medical bay to get fixed up and fortunately run into the attacker. After repeated tazing and the suspect almost escaping twice, I finally give up on the nice guy act. I taze him as he runs away again, grab a trusty toolchest, and just beat the guy to death. I know it pisses me off to no end when I'm certain I've killed somebody and they somehow survive, so it was nice for it to happen to me once and not the other way around.

It would be really nice if people would kill victims BEFORE welding them in a locker. Nothing is more awesome than being unable to do anything for 15 minutes and not even know how the game is playing out.

It was the AI. So you didn't let the AI do it and killed us all instead?
