Thrift Stores/ Garage Sales are great

I went garage sale-ing today and hit a few thrift stores. I always find the most awesome stuff in them. Today I found a first edition of Stephen King's Firestarter at one thrift store and bought it for thirty cents.

So, anyone else ever found something awesome in a thrift store/ garage sale?

    I have been looking for an opportunity to tell y'all about this

    So there is this guy doing ren faire this year

    Playing the gravedigger or something

    Anyways, every time I have seen him so far, he has been wearing a wolf shirt

    But it gets better

    I have counted at least three wolf themed tattoos

    Last rehearsal he told a story involving his wolf themed calendar

    And the icing on the motherfucking cake

    This man has introduced himself to us all

    I really like buying glassware at thrift stores. I once got a nice scotch glass and 3 shot glasses for $2.

    Oh right I should mention that I love thrift stores

    For clothes, mainly

    A solid 50-75% of my wardrobe is from thrift stores

    A friend of mine bought his Double Bass at a garage sale for 50 bucks

    He took it into the string specialist to get it cleaned and serviced and the dude said it was worth at least a few thousand in its current state.
