Well Auburn could put their shit together and maybe beat them. And I'd say Georgia has a moderate chance.

Damn McCoy looked smooth today. We gave OU a smooth buttfucking.

Feels damn good to see them on the opposite side of what we were on for so long.

So now the national scene is beginning to unfold. The NC race is down to just a few teams already:

OSU, USC, Florida, WVU, and Michigan are the only unbeatens left. At the very best, the end of the season will have 1 less than that list, because OSU plays Michigan.

If USC, Florida, WVU, and Michigan/OSU lose at least 1 game before week 12, Texas will again be back in the NC hunt.

to clarify, the unbeatens with a strong enough S.O.S. that they can compete for a NC.

Stoops just ruined one of the best running backs to play the game by leaving him in when the game was well in their hands.

Even though he's a damned traitor who left Texas to "win championships" at OU, I still feel sorry for Peterson.

Colt McCoy set a Texas record today for most number of TD passes in a game.

When you consider than Bobby Layne, Major Applewhite, and James Street have all played for Texas, that's pretty awesome.

    Jesus fuck, I know.

I mean, on the one hand I'm pissed because I feel that Missouri basically just gave away the game through shitty play calling and being a turnover machine, but on the other hand I am happy to have seen an absolutely astounding running back.

Edit: @thesonicretard - I have to believe that a program as storied as Texas has produced better quarterbacks to name than those three.

I assume you don't know who those three are.

Bobby Layne, without a doubt, was the best traditional QB ever to come out of Texas. Multiple time pro-bowler, with a storied past. He played in the NFL before the time of the super bowl, but had he played in the days of superbowl, he most certainly would have had hardware to show for it. I suggest you look him up on wikipedia.

James Street, on the other hand, was a monster. He brought us our second NC, in a game where he scored EVER POINT. He scored on 4 TD passes, 2 rushing, and even kicked every extra point and field goal. He was a monster.

And Major Applewhite may not be a familiar name, but he broke several records, and until Vince Young showed up, he was Texas' all-time leading passer. He was a prolific passer, easily the greatest passing QB in Texas' history.

A football game almost broke out at the Miami FIU brawl. Stomping calves, swinging helmets, body slams.

EDIT: Just saw it on the news, and they said one of the injured FIU players was attacking players with his crutches.

How the hell does a football game break out

    Back-slap with a glove.
Then some dude gets really pissed off, and shows up with his dudes in pads.

Colt McCoy set a Texas record today for most number of TD passes in a game.

Bobby Reid set an Oklahoma State record with 457 yards of total offense, which was held by our head coach, Mike Gundy.

"That stinks," Gundy said after the game. "I didn't know that. But if I did we wouldn't have called the last pass play."

    I don't think they're selling yet. I'm looking on utsports.com and this:

    Office Hours: 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.--Monday-Friday, ET

    Football Gameday Hours:
    # Tickets Office is located at Gate 21. Gameday hours: 2 hours prior to kick until halftime

is all the information they give. That's not as helpful as I'd like. Hopefully, I can get a free ticket at work. It'll be in the end zone under the screen but at least I'll be in the stadium. If not, it's a 3:30 kickoff on CBS.

Any day that they're selling tickets if they haven't done so as of yet is going to be something I'm going to have to fight, because I'd need to probably miss a class or two to get them.

The lines for the last couple games are going to be absurd.
