Um, so what does it say? For those of us that aren't barcode nerds.
Oh! If you don't have such a phone either, ASPose has a set of components with a demo that lets you scan barcodes off of images in a variety of formats. I only know about it because we happen to use ASPose to do all the barcode generation/reading for everything in our company. It's not the best component in the world, but it gets the job done
I don't have ASPose installed on my home machine, but when I get to work I'll scan it again and post up what it says (unless Archeious objects to spoiling the contents )

Ha... never thought I'd see this here. We use Aspose too for many things. We argued over how to pronounce the name... ASS-poze vs. ass-po-ZAY... so they sent us an mp3 of the original creator pronouncing it. We were all wrong. He's from Australia. He says uh-SPOZE. One of my developers wants everyone to say ASS-POSSY though...

Thread should now continue on-topic. :P
Ah, it's a small world! I always figured it was ASP ose (Asp like the snake, ose like... something odd they added so it sounded like a product name ). Interesting! Aye, back on topic I guess, but it's good to know that we're not alone in using it.

Or you could be like me and work with barcode reading devices for a living, and just use one of them to read it.

Sorry... I get carried away talking about barcodes. I can't help it! I'm also excited by the fact that I'm not the only barcode nerd out there. I thought it was just some kind of wierd obsession... now I know there's more like me out there!

If there's one thing I've learned about the internet, you're never the only person into anything.
To ease Buttoneer recognition, I will be wearing this hat:
How will we find you?
I will have an all black backpack with buttons on the back (picture coming soon as I don't have my camera at the moment). I will also probably be wearing all black.
My laptop bag should be on me at all times. Some times, it will even have a laptop in it, but there will be
buttons on the top black flap as I receive them.
Faces are hard, I was looking more for a bag or article of clothing (like a hat!) that you may be wearing so we can find eachother without requiring mass amounts of buttons to be present.

My buttons will be prominently displayed on the shoulder straps of my backpack, and I'll probably be wearing a huge set of cans (headphones, not bewbs). Look for the "Nerd!" button.
still no butan get for me, I sent a concerned email to Purebuttons asking them what the hell was going on, considering I have no tracking number or anything and paid extra for expedited shipping.

You were only not noticed because I'm mildly un-observant. This thread moves too fast fro my liking. :P Not to worry, you've been added.

Neat!
I think we have a physical reader somewhere in the office, but I would've had to print out the page for it to scan correctly. =(

There are about 60 of the Doctor Who ones and about 60 of the Steampunk Dalek ones.
That's way too much Elmer's glue.
