I got a SHITLOAD of buttons so far. I had them plastered all over my bag, but they kept falling off; I had to remove them just to keep from losing them.
I had to do the same thing. I still have some buttons on my PAX badge lanyard. And today I'll be wearing a yellow shirt with a Transformer on it! Hope to see you elusive button people!
My nephew and I were trading buttons all day yesterday. He thinks button trading is awesome and has taken over the whole thing from me. He now has all my buttons.....so if you're wearing yours, he'll be the kid walking up to you asking for them...and he's got all of the ones we've traded so far pinned to his clothes.
BTW...those of you traders not wearing your buttons....remedy that by at least putting 5 or 6 on your lanyard. It'll speed your trading RIGHT up.

I've still got a bunch left and have heard *repeatedly* that people were looking for me to get my buttons... Not sure why, it's caught me off-guard. I heard a suggestion as to the reason today, but don't want to say anything in case that's not the 'universal' reason that people have for it. But, uh... why *are* people seeming so likely to want mine?
Anyone who's not got mine yet, I'm going to be at the IndieCade booth from 11-12 tomorrow, then wandering about trying to do the p161 stuff, though I'll definitely make a stop by the Serpent Theatre to get my Omegathon card punched at the appropriate time. Also I'm going to try to get to the Omegathon final round to see what the OMGsecret game is, and will of course be at the buttonmeet at the Sheraton after the con's over. For reference and assistance in finding me: I'm about 6'0", have long hair that I keep tied back, will be wearing a black t-shirt with a red dalek on it, and have been wandering about with a laptop bag strapped to my back and a NERV messenger bag covered in buttons.

On a wholly unrelated topic, because I love you guys all so so much, I'm going to give you a piece of advice if you wanna make it to the 2nd Q&A. Go to the Family Feud. Otherwise, chances are you won't get in, they're not going to empty the theater between. I know a lot of people missed out on the 1st Q&A because they didn't empty out.
This has definitely been a blast, and I really wish I had more buttons to trade, as there are many I haven't gotten still! I started with 115 or so, and am down to 15, which I'm sure will be gone tomorrow.
I'm also planning next year's button already, lol.

I think, personally, that CuZZa wins for most brilliant "button holding device". The scarf was made of genius crafted deeply into its fibrous material. Portable, re-usable, and highly visible. Plus it looked great! Well done!
......oh hell, I lost a couple of buttons somewhere. Goddamned giant super-crowded crowds jostling and shoving and generally being less than polite in their treatment of members of the crowds...
Need a better method next year than sticking them all on a messenger bag, clearly.
I think formally adopting CuZZa's scarf idea might be a good way to limit that perhaps! Well, at least in theory... though in practice, it seems to have worked exceptionally well!
