I am at the Family Feud dealio now. Chilling here until the Q&A. After that I'll probably chill out on the expo floor.
I'm very annoyed that my buttons never made it to CaptainTapole. My button was supposed to be part of the secret gift too! I sincerely hope they release a DVD for PAX 08 very soon so I can at least see what I could have been a part of.
I've got about 10 left... I'll see you guys at the Sheraton meetup.

Don't forget, many of us will be in the Sheraton Lobby after PAX, I still have buttons to trade (no TWEWY). We may move our group somewhere offside when everyone gets there though. Let me know if anyone is up for some drinking later.
Nooo! I can't make it back down to the Sheraton. I might make it over to Belltown Billiards tonight (after a long nap!), or if you reeally want one of my Shadow of the Colossus buttons, just PM me and I can send you one.
I was sad that I hopped on this thread too late to have them ready for PAX. And then the final round of the Omegathon had to go and be Vs. Excitebike which would have made my avatar pins absolutely perfect.
Damn, I had like 6 more buttons to trade and I couldn't find them this morning... grrr
Well, all and all I thought it was an epic button trading year. Probably what we need to look for is better methods of holding buttons, and those damn mootchers! (Seriously, I asked someone if they had buttons and they said yes. I handed mine and the fucker went out the door before I could do anything... gah). The vendor buttons kinda made things difficult..
after the Q&A presentation, I am expecting a huge button turnout next year. I felt like one of the cool kids this go-round. I might design a shirt for us PAX '08 buttoneers if anyone is interested.
It was super awesome meeting you folk! I might catch some of you at the Billiards place tonight. This event made an already fantastic event extra special.
Next year? It'll be like, 300+ people. No, I think I'm retiring from button trading after this. It was awesome, but man, everyone and their mom is gonna jump on the bandwagon. >.>

That was hilarious! That guy was yelling at us again when we went outside too, getting all butt-hurt that we were blocking the side-walk. The group picture was awesome though, I can't wait to see it posted...

The group picture is of embarrassingly bad quality to me. I was trying to take it to fast, and still had my high ISO settings from inside. Didn't get the focus right, so everyone is a bit fuzzy unfortunately.

Oh, and I have to post this next picture for VT. It really sucks my group and I had to head home tonight (even though I'm only 30 mins away) otherwise I would have hung out longer.
I'm on the left (why my mouth is open i have no idea, was laughing at something) then VT, and Nihilist is on the right (part of my group). And that woman (sorry, no idea who she was) just kinda came up and starting talking to us, she was really cool though.
I haven't counted yet, but since I didn't order too many buttons I think I did well for what I had. It was rather fun. It probably will be more popular next year which will be neat, but I do hope it doesn't get too crazy. I do know I have at least 3 friends who want to do the button trade next year.
Well that was really fun! Unfortunately I didn't advertise that I was in the exchange very well. I did more hunting than being hunted. Still, out of my 100 buttons I traded 80 of them away, around 10 of them I didn't get buttons in return cause many people ran out. But I also got a lot of buttons not in the exchange, so it evened out. Wish I didn't have to leave early Sunday so I could've seen the case and gone to the final exchange, but maybe next year.
